The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaMotta lands a jab to the nose.
Nice takedown defense from LaMotta. No joy for Garnaca on that attempt.
No luck for Garnaca with that takedown attempt.
Garnaca takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The fight stays on the outside here - Garnaca looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The fighters circling - Garnaca throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Garnaca closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
LaMotta lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Garnaca ducks straight into an uppercut from LaMotta and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Garnaca maanges to regain guard straight away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
LaMotta is looking to work some ground and pound but Garnaca has wrist control.
Oh Garnaca is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

LaMotta stands and steps away. Garnaca gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Garnaca seems to have got his legs back now.
LaMotta moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Garnaca goes down! Can LaMotta finish him!?
Garnaca is breathing heavily.
LaMotta is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as LaMotta accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Garnaca is working an open guard so LaMotta takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
LaMotta scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
LaMotta lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Garnaca shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with LaMotta but LaMotta pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cristain Garnaca. That's going to take a lot out of him.
LaMotta throws a left that rocks Garnaca and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! LaMotta dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Garnaca regain composure!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
LaMotta lands a nice leg kick that just misses Garnaca's sensitive parts.
Jake LaMotta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Garnaca. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Garnaca closes this distance looking for a takedown but LaMotta circles away.

Barnes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Barnes throws an elbow but Jackson slips to the side and avoids it well.
Jackson tries to buck Barnes off but Barnes is having none of it.

Barnes tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Barnes has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Jackson is not content to let Barnes control the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Barnes goes for an armbar but Jackson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Jackson.
Barnes wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment.
Jackson chips away with some ground and pound.
Barnes throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Barnes has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though.
Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Barnes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jackson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Barnes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barnes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Barnes had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jackson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Barnes Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jackson's back instead.
Barnes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Barnes connects with a big shot to the side of Jackson's head.

Barnes working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Barnes has Jackson flattened out and is raining down punches.

Jackson can't escape the position.

Barnes is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Jackson won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Barnes off his unconscious opponent!

Wallace throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davis's waist but Davis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wallace off to one side.
Davis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wallace walks into a stiff left hand from Davis.
Davis walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Wallace drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Davis swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Wallace's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
