The bell rings for round one and we are underway! David gets a takedown into half guard. Mithchell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mithchell looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. David has hold of Mithchell's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mithchell manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! David prevents Mithchell from getting the reversal. David working for a guillotine from mount but Mithchell is in no mood to give up. Mithchell wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
David looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Mithchell really wants to buck David off and get back to his feet. David with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
David is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mithchell has left one of his arms exposed and David doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Mithchell screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! North fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The fight moves into the clinch position. Rua manages to break the clinch.
Rua closes this distance looking for a takedown but North circles away. North moves into the clinch successfully.
Rua has had enough of the clinch but North keeps him there for the moment. North is trying to break the clinch but Rua has him pressed against the cage. North manages to break the clinch.
Rua showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from North.
Rua shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rua was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! North sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rua wants to pass to mount but North is defending the position. Rua takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Rua stops North from getting back to his feet.
Rua stands up out of the half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. North misses with a two punch combination.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Rua keeps control of North as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Rua blocking some punches.
Rua lands a nice knee to the body. Rua wants a takedown.
Rua breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rua changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Rua scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. North is positioning himself to get back to half guard. North wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rua decides to take the fight back to the feet. North misses with a hook to the body
and Rua counters with a one-two to the body. Rua shoots and misses and North counters with a nice double leg into guard. Eric North has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milani Rua. North is looking to stand up but Rua won't let him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. North is breathing heavily. North is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Rua tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Milani Rua dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
North with a lazy takedown attempt and Rua counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rua. North misses with a knee to the head. North is trying to break the clinch but Rua has him pressed against the cage. Rua manages to break the clinch.
Left hook, right uppercut from Rua. Rua shoots in but no luck this time. Rua lands a body shot.
Rua throws a right hand that North ducks under and follows up with a left that North also avoids with ease. North shoots for a double leg takedown but Rua sprawls well. He's pushed North's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. North misses with a combination
and Rua counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rua. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knees in the clinch landing for Rua.
Rua breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No joy there for North, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
North scoring well with a low kick there.
Rua closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Rua sitting and controlling from the half guard. Rua decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Rua or perhaps it was just good defense by North which made him look bad. North looks to clinch and Rua holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Rua breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rua scores with a nice head shot. Rua misses with a double jab
and North counters with a shoot takedown. Rua fights it but they end up in guard. North throws a strike but Rua rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. North is looking to stand up but Rua isn't so interested in that idea. North is looking to stand back up but Rua counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by North.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. North is not content to let Rua control the position. North tries to bench press Rua off him but Rua keeps the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Milani Rua showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Rua tries to clinch up. Rua tries for a takedown but North circles away easily and North counters with a right hand to the body. North gets a takedown into half guard. North stands up out of the half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. North looks to clinch and Rua counters with a nice body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rua tries to clinch up. North takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
North shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rua as he jumps to the side. Rua fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with North, pushing him back against the cage. North wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rua has him pressed against the cage. Rua escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rua will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rua breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rua throws a left and a right that both miss
and North counters with a single leg into guard. Rua didn't expect that. North looking to sit in guard and control but Rua gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rua is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Rua must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rua slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. North is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rua remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Rua is looking to take a break and control but North is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eric North. I think Rua has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewandowski is looking to score with low kicks. Stevens moves in looking to clinch but Lewandowski pushes him off. Stevens gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Stevens keeping moving, preventing Lewandowski from controlling successfully. Lewandowski looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevens is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lewandowski is looking to work some ground and pound but Stevens has wrist control. Stevens will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stevens will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Lewandowski in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Stevens seems a little lost for a moment, as Lewandowski dominates the positioning.
