A head kick lands from Salammi that sends Hanma to the canvas. Hanma tries to scramble back to his feet but Salammi brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Baki Hanma has been cut.
Salammi cracks Hanma with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Salammi immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Hanma is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Salammi!

Loe has hold of Machida's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Machida manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rapidus fails with an attempt to clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rapidus scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Edberg doesn't seem bothered though.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Edberg escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Edberg knocks Rapidus to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Edberg takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Edberg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rapidus keeps working.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Edberg not doing much here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Edberg looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Stefan Edberg will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

A head kick by Edberg - that's a beauty! Rapidus is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Edberg can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
