1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Reser! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Judah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reser tries to avoid it but Judah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reser to the ground. Reser escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Judah ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Reser moves away. Judah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reser tries to avoid it but Judah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reser to the ground. Reser escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Reser rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Judah moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Reser throws a sloppy head kick and Judah moves out of range easily. Reser will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Reser uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Judah.
Reser clinches up against the cage. Judah jumps guard but Reser stands there with Judah around his waist. Judah gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Judah shoots for a double leg takedown but Reser sprawls well. He's pushed Judah's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Reser tries a head kick but it misses.
Judah moves out of range of the leg kick from Reser. Reser lands with a shot to the body. Judah is breathing heavily. Judah avoids the head kick by Reser.
Judah shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reser but Reser pushes him off and we're back to square one. Judah throws a solid leg kick but Reser takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Judah. Judah tries for a takedown but Reser sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Judah fails with the takedown. Reser looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Reser stuffs the takedown. Reser throws a head kick that misses. Don Judah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Judah fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reser manages to avoid it. Reser fails to land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Reser throws a right and a left that Judah avoids nicely. Judah shoots in and drives through. Reser sprawls well. Judah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reser tries to avoid it but Judah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reser to the ground. Reser escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Judah shoots in but no luck this time. Reser fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice uppercut there from Judah. This has been an exciting period of action! Judah checks a leg kick nicely. Judah connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Reser's hands. Whack! Reser lands a heavy head kick that drops Judah. The ref tackles Reser to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Judah was done.

It looks like Dump Liddel has been cut. shogun wants the takedown. Liddel is fighting it off but shogun persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Liddel's guard against the cage. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! shogun wants to stand and escape but instead Liddel has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. shogun wants to stand and escape but Liddel is having none of it. shogun preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Liddel throws an elbow but shogun slips to the side and avoids it well. Liddel decides to stand back up. Liddel steps back and let's shogun get back to his feet. Liddel misses with a takedown attempt and shogun counters by moving into the clinch. shogun tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Plant drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Plant in side control, just content to control the action for now. Plant wants to control but Green is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Plant thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Plant wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Green, who protects the arm well.

Green shoots in and bounces Plant off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Green is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
