Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ding Dong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barry White! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dong fails with a takedown attempt from distance. White closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. White trying to control the action but Dong is working from the bottom. Dong knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for White on the ground. White drops an elbow to the side of Dong's head. White seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Dong trying to control but White postures up.
Dong wants to improve his position but White is controlling well.
White wants to take a breather but Dong is having none of it. White prevents Dong from standing back up.
Dong looking for submissions from an awkward position here. White keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. White has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. White drops an elbow to the side of Dong's head. White is nestled in close to Dong, controlling him well. White scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Dong is trying to defend against the ground and pound but White scores with a couple of nice shots. White drops an elbow to the side of Dong's head. Oh Dong is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! White stands up and beckons Dong to join him on the feet. White closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dong taking punishment in the form of punches.
White takes a little break here. Dong wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Dong seems to have got his legs back now. Dong is not content to let White control the position. Dong is trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Dong shoots and misses and White decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dong's guard. White passes into half guard. Dong gets full guard. White throwing strikes but missing. Dong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. White manages to get himself to full guard.
White wants to stand and escape but Dong is having none of it. White wants to sweep here but Dong controlling him for the moment. White has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Dong off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dong tries for a takedown but White circles away easily and White counters by clinching up. Dong has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. White is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Dong goes for a takedown in the clinch but White prevents it.
White lands a shot to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dong wants to get back to striking at distance but White won't allow it.

Dong drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but White manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dong has White in his guard. White trying to control but Dong is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. White controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. White wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Barry White dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dong clinches but White breaks the clinch and White decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dong's guard. White stands up from guard. Let's bang! Dong doesn't succeed with the takedown and White counters with a shoot takedown. Dong fights it but they end up in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. White preventing the sweep. White wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving. White advances position into side control! Dong is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, White asserts his dominance and retains side control. White works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Dong trying to remain calm as White controls from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. White tries for a kimura but Dong is defending well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. White trying to control the position but Dong is working away. White is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. White has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dong is looking for a sweep. Dong pushes White away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, White gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. White is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Dong's shoulder. That is not cool. Dong tries to get back to half guard but can't. White has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

He's tossed White clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Dong is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but White has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. White rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Dong wants to lay and pray for a moment but White keeps working.

White throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A head kick misses from White. White shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. White landing punches. White tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. White lands a big elbow. Dong keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
White fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

White looking to control and managing it successfully. White trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dong keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. White lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

White lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dong tries to free his leg and advance position but White is retaining full guard. Dong throws a big right hand that misses. White is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dong is looking to escape. White passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dong! Dong looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! The crowd hopeful of a finish here - White's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dong rolls, trying to escape but White keeps control of the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Barry White comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Rosseti tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Harris just stands there and leans against the cage. Harris breaks the clinch.
Harris bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Rosseti is trying to control Harris's posture but Harris avoids it. Rosseti is not content to let Harris control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rosseti is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Harris's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Harris tries to stand but can't do so whilst Rosseti controls his leg. Harris is working for a kimura but Rosseti is defending it quite comfortably.
