My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McNamera looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sobrawl working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on McNamera's thigh. McNamera counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Sobrawl postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McNamera is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sobrawl, into his guard.

Canuto is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Greaves is just riding it out for now. Canuto eventually gives up the hold.

Greaves moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Canuto drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Greaves dives on top into guard.

Greaves is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Canuto is forced to tap! Great finish!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Powers drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Huntelaar right on the button. Huntelaar goes down! Powers follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Powers gets the win via TKO!

Ferro steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Skeleton's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Skeleton just didn't come prepared.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Nich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nich kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Boom Boom Pow. Stephen Harper told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

That was a close second round but I would say that Alistar Oberream will probably get the nod.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alistar Oberream. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jacobs has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jacobs and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
