The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunn tries to clinch up but Flores circles away and keeps his distance. Flores looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Gunn is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gunn tries to clinch up. Flores tries to land a front kick but Gunn steps back. A lull in the action here as Gunn stalls from top position. Gunn tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Gunn wants to stand but Flores has his arm trapped. Gunn decides to take the fight back to the feet. Gunn slips under a jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Victor Gunn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gunn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Castro is breathing heavily. Gunn is looking to reverse the position. Gunn wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Castro avoids the strikes from the bottom by Gunn. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potratz ducks under a wild hook from James. Potratz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
James swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Potratz counters with a head kick. James falls off balance throwing a combination
and Potratz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Potratz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt James. Frank James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Potratz fails in his attempt to clinch. James misses with a shot to the body and Potratz counters by clinching up. A bit of stalling here from Potratz.

Allie Potratz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank James. Potratz slips a jab from James. Potratz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with James, pushing him back against the cage. Potratz breaks from the clinch.
James throws a hook but Potratz blocks it. James misses with a looping right. Potratz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from James. Potratz connects with a vicious head kick that knocks James to the floor! Potratz dives in looking for the finish!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Potratz trying to control from half guard but James is working away. James tries to get to full guard but Potratz has control of the leg. Potratz wants to stand up but James is controlling the position.
James is refusing to be controlled, as Potratz sits in half guard. James tries to roll over but Potratz keeps him under control. James manages to get to full guard.

James is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Potratz is surviving well by controlling James's body position as best he can. Potratz taking shots to the head. Potratz is trying desperately to improve position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. James is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! James extends the arm and Potratz is forced to tap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jitsu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Vindicator shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vindicator showed some decent athleticism there. Vindicator is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Vindicator trying to mount his opponent but Jitsu defends it. Jitsu gets full guard. Jitsu pulls Vindicator in to control the position. Jitsu will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Jitsu wants to sweep but no luck. Jitsu keeping moving, preventing Vindicator from controlling successfully. Vindicator has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Vindicator passes Jitsu's left leg - he's now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jitsu is looking to regain full guard. Vindicator is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jitsu is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jitsu has escaped and now he's on top! Vindicator throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Vindicator is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jitsu slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jitsu passes easily into side control. Nice work. Vindicator tries to buck Jitsu off but Jitsu is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vindicator is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jitsu has just dragged him back down to the mat. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Vindicator wants to control but Jitsu postures up. Jitsu throwing shots but missing, from side control. Jitsu landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Vindicator sneaks back into half guard. Jitsu looks gassed! Jitsu wants to stand but Vindicator has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Vindicator throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jitsu sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jitsu stuffs the takedown. Jitsu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Vindicator is looking to get to half guard.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jitsu stands up from half guard. Excellent takedown into side control there by Jitsu. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jitsu has hold of Vindicator's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Vindicator seems comfortable defending it but Jitsu has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Vindicator is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Vindicator is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jitsu couldn't care less - he's delighted!
