The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swick instigates a clinch.
Swick is trying to break the clinch but Karhu has him pressed against the cage.
Swick tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Karhu's elbow.

Karhu pulls guard.
Swick trying to control the position from guard on top but Karhu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Swick with a nice head shot there.

Karhu working for a triangle but Swick defends it easily.

Karhu controls Swick momentarily but Swick frees himself.

Swick postures up in Karhu's guard and throws a big left but Karhu blocks it.

Karhu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Swick gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Swick makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Karhu had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Swick is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Karhu Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Swick's back instead.
Karhu is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grenier keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bom steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Grenier.
Grenier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bom throws a nice looking combination but Grenier bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bom shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Grenier pinned against the cage. Grenier gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Grenier swats away the attempt to clinch by Bom.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Bom wants to break free but Grenier has control.

and Bom counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bom.

Bom manages to break the clinch.

Grenier walks straight into a right hand from Bom - that's dropped him! Bom jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Grenier from any more punishment! Grenier complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Hekkanen lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Hekkanen celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
