1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vlad Tahnk! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tahnk shoots in but no luck this time. Tahnk swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A nice inside leg kick there by Smasher. That's going to slow Tahnk down. Smasher clinches up with Tahnk and pushes him back against the cage. Tahnk is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Tahnk is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Smasher can't fight it off and eventually Tahnk manages to take the fight to the floor. Smasher looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Tahnk with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Tahnk stands up over Smasher, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Tahnk wants to stand but Smasher is controlling his posture from full guard. Tahnk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smasher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Smasher looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Smasher keeping moving, preventing Tahnk from controlling successfully. Tahnk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smasher swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tahnk advances to half guard. Smasher is refusing to be controlled, as Tahnk sits in half guard. Tahnk lands strikes from half guard. Tahnk not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Tahnk tries to clinch but Smasher moves away and Smasher counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Tahnk wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Smasher tries for a takedown. No joy.
Smasher has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tahnk is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tahnk pushes Smasher back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Smasher is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tahnk pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hulk Smasher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smasher breaks from the clinch.

Smasher could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Smasher closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Smasher trying to control the action but Tahnk is working from the bottom.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tahnk defends it well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Smasher scoring with strikes to the body and head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tahnk is sitting in close to Smasher's body. Smasher has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tahnk is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tahnk is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Smasher.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Smith fails in his attempt to clinch. Smith wants to clinch up but Saget keeps it at a distance. Smith tries to clinch up. Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Saget ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smith moves away. James Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Saget throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Saget lands with a hook. Smith tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Smith moves away from the strike by Saget. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saget lands a nice looking body shot.

That was a close round but I would say that Bob Saget will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Saget tries to land knees in the clinch but Smith avoids the damage to the body. Saget is trying to maintain a safe position but Smith gets an underhook and turns Saget into the cage. Smith is trying to trip Saget. He has hold of a leg but Saget is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Smith persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Smith wanted to stand there but Saget had control of the position. Smith preventing the sweep. Smith trying to control but Saget is working from the bottom. Smith must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Smith with a flurry of punches that miss. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Saget is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Smith is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Saget's shoulder. That is not cool. Smith stands up. Smith tries to clinch but fails miserably and Saget counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Smith wants to clinch but Saget slips to the side and Saget counters by moving into the clinch. Smith connects with a knee to the head.
Smith unloads a knee to the mid-section. Saget lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Smith connects with a knee right up the middle there - that's rocked Saget badly! Saget tumbles to the floor and Smith stands over him, dominant and satisfied with his glorious KO victory!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nukem fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Thompson sprawls well initially but Nukem persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Thompson has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Nukem. Oh but Thompson has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Nukem goes limp - he's gone! Thompson jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
