Johnson closes this distance looking for a takedown but McDuff circles away.
Douglas McDuff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wayne Johnson.
Johnson shoots for a double leg takedown but McDuff sprawls well. He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Johnson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Johnson tries for a kimura but McDuff is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McDuff uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Johnson has time to react.
McDuff misses with a looping right.
McDuff scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Johnson doesn't seem bothered though.
McDuff paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Johnson seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. McDuff shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Johnson is backing up but McDuff catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Johnson covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! McDuff Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
