The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dagenais drives through with a takedown into guard. Dagenais looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Dagenais postures up in Qura's guard and throws a big left but Qura blocks it. Qura looking for a sweep. Not yet Qura, not yet. Dagenais could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Qura is trying to keep Dagenais in close.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hawk Henson! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cote closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Henson to the mat! Henson manages to get full guard. Henson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cote gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Henson wants to sweep but no luck. Cote lands a couple of decent looking shots. Henson keeping full guard, as Cote tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cote trying to control but Henson is working from the bottom. Henson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cote avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cote is stalling in the full guard. Henson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cote doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cote manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cote postures up and lands a big shot to Henson's brow. Henson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Cote is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Henson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Cote knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Henson on the ground. Cote trying to control the position from guard on top but Henson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cote stopping the sweep attempt from Henson. Cote is sitting in close to Henson's body. Henson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Cote is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Cote is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Henson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Ramirez. Davis blocks a head kick by Ramirez.
Davis throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ramirez's head. Ramirez rushes Davis and presses him up against the cage. Ramirez has had enough of the clinch but Davis keeps him there for the moment. Davis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ramirez smiles and moves away.
Ramirez blocks a head kick by Davis.

Davis drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Ramirez. Ramirez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ramirez is trying to break the clinch but Davis has him pressed against the cage. Davis jumps guard but Ramirez stands there with Davis around his waist. Davis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rocco Ramirez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nate Davis. Ramirez wants to get back to striking at distance but Davis won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramirez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ramirez moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Ramirez moves into the clinch successfully.
Ramirez tries to work over Davis's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Ramirez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A head kick misses from Ramirez. Ramirez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ramirez fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Davis is out of range. Some wild striking there from Ramirez.

Rocco Ramirez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Davis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Davis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Davis jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ramirez manages to avoid the submission attempt. Ramirez is trying to buck Davis off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramirez explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Ramirez misses with a series of wild punches.
Ramirez tries to clinch there but Davis circles away.
Ramirez lets loose with a powerful body kick. Davis will feel that in the morning. Davis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ramirez thows a body kick. Davis tries to catch it but that hurt him. Davis checks a leg kick nicely. Ramirez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ramirez lands with a kick to the temple. Davis shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Ramirez misses with a head kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ramirez. Ramirez throws a lazy head kick and Davis counters with a good, hard body kick but Ramirez shrugs it off. Ramirez wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Ramirez throws a head kick that misses and Davis counters with a shoot takedown. Ramirez fights it but they end up in guard. Davis with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramirez is looking to stand up but Davis isn't so interested in that idea. Ramirez keeping full guard, as Davis tries to pass. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ramirez's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Davis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Davis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A low kick from Ramirez is predictable there and Davis counters with a single leg into guard. Ramirez didn't expect that. Davis prevents Ramirez from getting back to his feet. Davis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sapp shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chamberlaine looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Sapp shoots in looking for a takedown. Chamberlaine tries to sprawl out of it but Sapp keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chamberlaine manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sapp closes the distance and clinches up with Chamberlaine, looking for a takedown. Sapp pushes Chamberlaine against the cage but Chamberlaine circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Travis Chamberlaine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Sapp. Sapp takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Chamberlaine jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Nice sprawl there from Chamberlaine as Sapp shoots in. Sapp on the wrong end of a nice hook. Chamberlaine throws a one two combo.
Sapp is rocked! Chamberlaine slips under a jab from Sapp. The fight stays on the outside here - Sapp looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Chamberlaine lands with a shot to the body. Robert Sapp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sapp fails with the takedown. Chamberlaine lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Sapp closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sapp lands in his opponent's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sapp's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapp passes Chamberlaine's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Chamberlaine blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sapp. Sapp uses his free foot to push down on Chamberlaine's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Chamberlaine. Chamberlaine really wants to buck Sapp off and get back to his feet. BOOM! Sapp connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Chamberlaine in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Sapp loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Chamberlaine scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Sapp land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Sapp stands and salutes the crowd.

Qura throws a right hand that Bandito ducks under and follows up with a left that Bandito also avoids with ease. Qura throws a nice looking combination but Bandito bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A combination from Qura does no damage. Qura throws a right hand that Bandito ducks under and follows up with a left that Bandito also avoids with ease. Qura throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bandito takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Chino Bandito has been cut. Bandito connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Bandito fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bandito lands a with a good body shot. Qura looks gassed! Bandito misses with a body kick. Qura showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bandito.
Qura looks for a takedown but Bandito sprawls well. Yacoub Qura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bandito gets the takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Qura gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Bandito controlling the position easily from mount. Bandito dominating with strikes here.

Qura is rocked! Bandito lands a big elbow. Qura is still in real trouble! Can Bandito finish him? Qura swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Qura seems to have recovered his senses. Qura is in a horrible position here. Bandito smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
