 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonson feints and as Nishimura raises his hands in defense, Jonson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jonson is looking to stand up but Nishimura won't let him. Nishimura looking for a sweep. Not yet Nishimura, not yet. Jonson trying to control the position from guard on top but Nishimura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Nishimura has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jonson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nishimura is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Ruzinzki! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and William Gold.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Ruzinzki or perhaps it was just good defense by Alves which made him look bad. Alves throws a series of punches but Ruzinzki moves out of range. Ruzinzki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alves tries to avoid it but Ruzinzki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alves to the ground. Alves escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A jab lands there for Alves. Alves plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Ruzinzki shoots for a double leg takedown but Alves sprawls well. He's pushed Ruzinzki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Pedro Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Ruzinzki. Alves misses the jab. Alves catches Ruzinzki with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Alves tries to bum rush Ruzinzki with a series of wild strikes but Ruzinzki uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ruzinzki closes the distance and clinches. Alves wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Alves shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ruzinzki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Ruzinzki sitting in guard here, content to control. Ruzinzki takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ruzinzki in particular looking to stall.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Ruzinzki wants to take a breather but Alves is having none of it. Alves is looking to escape.
Ruzinzki escapes and gets back to his feet. Ruzinzki fails with the takedown. Pedro Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Ruzinzki. Alves throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ruzinzki's waist but Ruzinzki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alves off to one side. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ruzinzki has control of Alves's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Alves regains control of the situation pretty easily.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Ruzinzki has good solid back control here. Victor Ruzinzki has got the better of the ground game so far. Ruzinzki lands an elbow to the side of the head. Alves is trying to get back to his feet but Ruzinzki has full control of the position and if anything, Alves has just worked his way into a worse spot.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ruzinzki is trying to stick to Alves's back but Alves is turning into Ruzinzki. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ruzinzki's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Alves.

And that's the end of the fight! Victor Ruzinzki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ruzinzki winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 It looks like Johnny Chase has been cut. Wilder uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chase. Wilder cracks Chase with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Chase looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Chase tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wilder swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wilder misses with a two punch combination.

 Chase is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wilder looking to control and managing it successfully. Chase is still in real trouble! Can Wilder finish him? Wilder's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Wilder dives into mount looking to finish! Chase is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Wilder looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilder seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Chase for as long as he can get away with.

Wilder lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wilder. Nice takedown defense from Wilder. No joy for Chase on that attempt. Van Wilder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Chase.
