The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mandic lands a big uppercut and Drago crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Drago looks OK.
Drago is rocked! Mandic blocks the strikes from Drago.
Oh Drago is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Drago moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Drago seems to have got his legs back now. Drago scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Mandic lands a brutal head kick. Drago looks out on his feet and Mandic throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz tries to clinch but Liddell moves out of range. Liddell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ortiz's waist but Ortiz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Liddell off to one side. Tito Ortiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ortiz wants to clinch. Liddell misses with a takedown attempt - Ortiz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Liddell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ortiz as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Liddell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ortiz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ortiz rushes Liddell and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ortiz is looking to break free of the clinch but Liddell has double underhooks. Liddell controlling the action here for a moment.

Ortiz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Nice strikes from Ortiz there. Liddell is trying to get back to full guard. Liddell is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ortiz scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Liddell is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ortiz cracks Liddell with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

No joy there for Solo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Solo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Solo struggling a bit here. Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Solo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Solo is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jones tries to advance position but instead Solo slips a leg back in to half guard. Jones is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Arias is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Duke pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Arias is keeping the position for now. Arias is looking for a triangle here but Duke uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Duke thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Duke keeps control of Arias as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Duke has Arias pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Duke pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Arias tumbling to the mat - Duke dives into Arias's guard. Duke stands and throws Arias's legs to the side, diving into side control. Arias is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Duke off and has taken his back! Arias is trying to stick to Duke's back but Duke is turning into Arias. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Arias's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Duke. Arias working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duke doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duke manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Arias lands a good elbow from the bottom. Arias is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Arias working the head and body with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duke is trying to get back to full guard. Arias drops an elbow to the side of Duke's head. Arias slips a nice elbow through Duke's hands, connecting with Duke's forehead. Duke punching from the bottom.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Arias is trying to work for a sweep but Duke has mounted him!
And that's the end of the fight! Raoul Duke showed his dominance in that final round. Well Duke has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Markakis swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hanma stands and throws Markakis's legs to the side, diving into side control. Markakis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hanma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Markakis on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Hanma tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hanma has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hanma is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Markakis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hanma has hold of Markakis's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Markakis seems comfortable defending it but Hanma has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Markakis is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Markakis is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hanma couldn't care less - he's delighted!

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trajan Argyle! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Hamilton! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Argyle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hamilton as he jumps to the side. Hamilton steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Argyle. Argyle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hamilton pinned against the cage. Hamilton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Argyle steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hamilton. Hamilton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Argyle. Argyle scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hamilton doesn't seem bothered though. A combination from Argyle does no damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Argyle shoots in looking for a takedown. Hamilton tries to sprawl out of it but Argyle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hamilton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trajan Argyle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Argyle misses with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Argyle throws a right and a left that both miss. Hamilton tries to clinch but Argyle is having none of it. Argyle waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Hamilton. Hamilton takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hamilton clinches. Hamilton digs a right hand into Argyle's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Argyle's gas tank. Argyle can't break the clinch.

Argyle slow jab from Hamilton misses its intended target. Hamilton lands with a shot to the body. Argyle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hamilton as he avoids it easily. Hamilton connects with a good right hand that stumbles Argyle. Argyle circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Hamilton tries to clinch up but Argyle circles away and keeps his distance. Hamilton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Argyle swats him away and circles back towards the center. Argyle looks to land a right hand but Hamilton moved out of range. Hamilton dodges the punch combination from Argyle.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Argyle throws a series of punches but Hamilton avoids them all with ease. Argyle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hamilton is looking to clinch but Argyle is avoiding it.
Hamilton clinches up with Argyle and pushes him back against the cage. A left hand lands to the body for Hamilton.
Hamilton lands a shot to the body. Argyle is trying to break the clinch but Hamilton has him pressed against the cage. Hamilton lands a right hand. Argyle is trying to break free. Hamilton's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Hamilton ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hamilton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Argyle looking to pass the guard. Argyle is working hard here to advance position. Argyle is breathing heavily. Hamilton looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hamilton wants to stand and escape but Argyle is having none of it. Argyle wants to pass the guard but Hamilton is keeping the position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hamilton holds on and takes a little breather. Argyle has gone for a leg lock! Hamilton slips out almost immediately though and dives into Argyle's guard. Argyle is working an open guard so Hamilton takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rob Hamilton dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Argyle is rocked! Hamilton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Argyle.
Oh Argyle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Trajan Argyle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Argyle seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Hamilton shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Argyle is backing up but Hamilton catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Argyle covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Hamilton Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Hamilton! Rob Hamilton is the new featherweight champion!
