David Frank comes to the cage accompanied by Go Go Power Rangers. Iberico has chosen Pa' Bravo YO as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Iberico or perhaps it was just good defense by David Frank which made him look bad.

David Frank feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Coutinho kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Brazil Samba. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Goodbody darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Goodbody with the ground and pound but Mouton uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Mouton tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Goodbody wants to stand but Mouton is controlling his posture from full guard.
Goodbody wants to stand and escape but instead Mouton has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Mouton prevents Goodbody from getting back to his feet.

Goodbody is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mouton advances to half guard.

Mouton frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Mouton jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle�. Ooooh, that looks tight� Goodbody is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Goodbody and Mouton has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Mouton looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Goodbody pushes Mouton away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mouton gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Goodbody tries to bench press Mouton off him but Mouton keeps the position.
Goodbody is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mouton is controlling him well.

Goodbody is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mouton asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Mouton is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goodbody is looking to get to half guard.

Goodbody has left one of his arms exposed and Mouton doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Goodbody screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lattavo tries a head kick but it misses.
Rains shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lattavo pinned against the cage. Lattavo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lattavo cracks a nice hook into Rains's ribs.

Rains changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lattavo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Rains has hold of Lattavo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lattavo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rains cranks the arm and Lattavo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lattavo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Gonzaga closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

James might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gonzaga kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
James controlling the position for now.
James is pressing down on Gonzaga's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

James is trying to control the position but Gonzaga postures up.

James looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Gonzaga passes into side control.

Gonzaga looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks James with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Gonzaga tries to pass the half guard into mount. James knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

James has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Gonzaga should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, James has tightened it up now! Gonzaga should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
