2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mo Lester! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cyrus Stone! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Left hook, right uppercut from Stone. Stone fails to land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Stone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stone looks for the body kick but Lester saw that one coming. Cyrus Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone throws a series of punches but Lester avoids them all with ease. Stone fails with the takedown. Lester fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stone, pushing him back against the cage. Lester's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Stone wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lester has him pressed against the cage. Lester tries to pull guard but Stone won't allow it.
Lester jumps guard but Stone stands there with Lester around his waist. Lester gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Lester breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stone dips to his left and cracks Lester with an uppercut!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Lester. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stone throws a nice looking combination but Lester bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stone fails to land with a series of punches.
Lester closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lester throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stone blocks it with crossed arms. Stone wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Stone throws a right hand that Lester ducks under and follows up with a left that Lester also avoids with ease. Stone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
