Chase's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Victory by Viking Quest. Silva has chosen 'Be Myself' by Charlie Brown Jr. as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Diego Silva acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Chase throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.

Chase fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage.
Chase is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Silva is pressed up against the cage. Chase has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Craig Charyak.
