Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Babcock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chad Ward! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Babcock shoots in but Ward avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ward gets the takedown into side control. Ward decides to stand up, so the ref orders Babcock to his feet. Babcock feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ward is on top in guard.

Stevens wants to stand but Bonnar is controlling the position. Bonnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Stevens is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stevens is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bonnar makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bonnar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bonnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Stevens is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bonnar controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Stevens is fighting to maintain full guard but Bonnar has managed to sneak the leg through. Bonnar wants to pass to mount but Stevens is defending the position. Stevens wants to control but Bonnar is keeping busy.

Stevens tries to get back to half guard but can't. Stevens tries to lock up and control but Bonnar gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Stevens really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Bonnar trying to control but Stevens is having none of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stevens wants to hold on but Bonnar pushes him away.
And that's the end of the fight! Stiff Bonnar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bonnar winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cromoljenko shoots in for a takedown but Clegane shows good takedown defense. Cromoljenko tries for a takedown but Clegane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Clegane cracks Cromoljenko with a big right hand and Cromoljenko goes down!

Oh Cromoljenko is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cromoljenko is breathing heavily. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cromoljenko fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Clegane takes a swing at Cromoljenko's ribcage but misses. Clegane looks to land a combination but Cromoljenko avoids it well. Clegane loads up on a big right hand but Cromoljenko slips the punch. Cromoljenko shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Clegane's guard. Clegane is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Clegane wants to stand but Cromoljenko is controlling the position. Cromoljenko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clegane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clegane seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Cromoljenko postures up.

Clegane can't keep his opponent in guard - Cromoljenko advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Cromoljenko is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Cromoljenko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clegane keeps working. Cromoljenko has hold of Clegane's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Clegane tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Cromoljenko cranks the arm and Clegane screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Clegane, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
