 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orsak throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Orsak throws a body punch but Jallow moves out of range. Jallow keeps the fight on the outside. Orsak throws a right and a left that both miss. Jallow drops Orsak with a naaaaasty hook - Orsak is in real trouble here! Jallow dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King Kong scores with a takedown into Hall's guard. King Kong trying to control the position from guard on top but Hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. King Kong being controlled here momentarily. King Kong working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hall preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hall tries to strike from the bottom.
King Kong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King Kong.

King Kong scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Hall tries to buck King Kong off but King Kong is having none of it. Hall regains half guard there - taking advantage of King Kong's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. King Kong trying to mount his opponent but Hall defends it. Hall is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute King Kong jumps into side control! Hall dodges the ground and pound from King Kong. King Kong is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. King Kong working the ground and pound but Hall is defending the strikes.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall tries to escape but King Kong is in control. Hall is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on King Kong's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. King Kong not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hall is trying to maintain the position but King Kong is very close to passing his half guard. King Kong slips a nice elbow through Hall's hands, connecting with Hall's forehead. Hall is pressing down on King Kong's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. King Kong with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. King Kong throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hall works some decent striking defense from the bottom.  That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall keeping moving, preventing King Kong from controlling successfully. King Kong looks gassed! Hall is trying to control the position but King Kong postures up.
Hall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. King Kong trying to control but Hall is working from the bottom. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. King Kong keeps the fight on the outside. No luck for King Kong with that takedown attempt. Hall fails with the takedown
and King Kong counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. King Kong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hall keeps working. Hall slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. King Kong must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. King Kong won't allow Hall to sweep him here. King Kong stops Hall from standing up. King Kong tries to free his leg and advance position but Hall is retaining full guard. Hall working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from King Kong. Hall controls King Kong momentarily but King Kong frees himself. King Kong slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kris King Kong dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Hall counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hall. Hall pushes King Kong back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Hall is working for takedown but King Kong is calmly controlling the position for now. with the fighters clinched against the ropes, Hall creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. King Kong tries for a takedown but Hall circles away easily

Donivan Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kris King Kong. Hall drops down looking for an ankle pick but King Kong pulls his leg out and moves away.

Kris King Kong has got the better of the ground game so far. Hall avoids the attempt from King Kong to control. King Kong is in all sorts of trouble here.
King Kong gets back to half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if King Kong can do anything to dispel that myth.

King Kong can't do much from the bottom here. King Kong is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on King Kong's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. King Kong looking for a sweep but Hall has passed into full mount! Oh no! Hall with good strikes from the mount here!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall tries to control but King Kong wriggling away. BOOM! Hall connects with a massive shot to the dome!
 King Kong is rocked! Hall putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! King Kong is still in real trouble! Can Hall finish him? Hall lands a big elbow - King Kong is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and King Kong is forced to tap out!

Ballantine bounces back off the ropes towards Blo, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Blo lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Blo celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Edwards shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jackson works his way to full guard. Good work. Jackson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Edwards puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Jackson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Edwards tries to pass to full mount but Jackson defends it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jackson moves into full guard.
Edwards stands and throws Jackson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jackson sneaks back into half guard. Jackson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jackson.
Jackson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Edwards should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jackson has tightened it up now! Edwards should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
