I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jack Beam was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Beam! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bradley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Bradley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bradley stuffs the takedown. Bradley lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Beam shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bradley pinned against the cage. Bradley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bradley forces Beam back against the cage and clinches. Bradley lands a takedown into guard.
Bradley controlling from the top position. Bradley connects with a couple of short punches. Bradley trying to control the position from guard on top but Beam is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bradley won't allow Beam to sweep him here. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Beam is on top in guard.
Beam drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Beam jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bradley has control of Beam's left arm, preventing Beam from doing any damage. Bradley thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Beam tries to free his leg and advance position but Bradley is retaining full guard. Bradley is pulling down on Beam's head. It's preventing any offense from Beam, at least for the moment. Beam wants to pass the guard but Bradley is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bradley looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bradley stuffs the takedown. Eric Bradley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Beam. Bradley lands a jab-cross combination. A nice inside leg kick there by Bradley. That's going to slow Beam down. Bradley clinches up against the cage. Bradley breaks from the clinch.
No joy there for Bradley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A right-left combo lands from Bradley. Bradley lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A punch combination from Bradley misses. Bradley rushes Beam and presses him up against the cage. Beam goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bradley prevents it.
Bradley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bradley's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Bradley duly obliges. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bradley. Bradley is breathing heavily. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Bradley working away. Bradley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Beam on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beam sneaks back into half guard. Beam is trying to get back to full guard. Beam trying to control here.
Bradley wants to free his trapped foot but Beam is holding on for dear life with his legs. Bradley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beam keeps working. Beam slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Beam has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bradley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bradley won't allow Beam to sweep him here. Bradley wanted to stand there but Beam had control of the position. Beam working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bradley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Beam is tightening it up a little... Bradley has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bradley reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bradley taps out! nice BJJ there by Beam!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fausset shoots in and bounces buto off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fausset advances to half guard. Fausset passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for buto! buto is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
buto is breathing heavily. Fausset working for a guillotine from mount but buto is in no mood to give up. Fausset moves to the back. Fausset has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, buto has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
buto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fausset on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fausset is working for a rear naked choke. buto is not defending it well and Fausset has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! buto refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of buto's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Van Dammed tries to clinch up but Disposition circles away and keeps his distance. A decent looking cross lands there for Disposition. Disposition shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Disposition moves into range and clinches up with Van Dammed. Disposition scores with a knee to the head.
Van Dammed is rocked! Disposition just leaning against Van Dammed, taking a breather. Van Dammed is still on wobbly legs! Can Disposition finish him? Van Dammed tries to pull guard but Disposition won't allow it.
Disposition with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Beckenbauer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jooginz but Jooginz pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jooginz scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jooginz takes a little break here. Beckenbauer wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Jooginz trying to control the position but Beckenbauer is working away. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vega. noi stuffs the takedown attempt from Vega. Vega gets slowly back to his feet. noi swinging wilding here.
Vega has a takedown stuffed. shagy noi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julito Vega. noi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Vega to the mat! Vega manages to get full guard. Vega working for a triangle but noi defends it easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeSouza takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Doug DeSouza has been cut. Lyoto Machida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. DeSouza misses with an uppercut. Machida saw that one coming. DeSouza stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Machida. It's a brutal combination of punches from Machida! DeSouza is backing up but he can't get away as Machida lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops DeSouza and ends the fight. Great knockout.
