The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amber gets a takedown into half guard. Flavio looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Flavio is refusing to be controlled, as Amber sits in half guard. Amber tries to pass to full mount but Flavio defends it. Amber lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Flavio blocking the ground and pound attempt from Amber. Amber drops an elbow to the side of Flavio's head. Amber lands strikes from half guard. Amber lands a big shot. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Amber misses with a takedown attempt and Flavio counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Flavio. Flavio wants to control from the top but Amber keeps moving. Flavio won't allow Amber to sweep him here. Amber throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Amber fails with the takedown and Flavio counters with a low kick, right behind Amber 's knee. Flavio shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Amber pinned against the cage. Amber gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Amber shoots in and bounces Flavio off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Flavio had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Amber is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Flavio Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Amber's back instead. Amber fending off the submission attempt from Flavio.

Flavio is not going to allow Amber to sit and survive in this position. Amber looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Flavio's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Otis Amber has got the better of the ground game so far. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
