I think Ek might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pixies - Tame. Rami Raakalainen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Ek. No joy for Raakalainen on that attempt. Ek blocks a head kick by Raakalainen.
Raakalainen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ek gets caught flat footed, as Raakalainen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Raakalainen slips nicely into half guard. Raakalainen throws a strike but Ek avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Raakalainen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Raakalainen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ek avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Raakalainen decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Raakalainen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Raakalainen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ek is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Raakalainen looks gassed! Raakalainen creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Raakalainen with the ground and pound but Ek regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Ek trying to control here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pesonen shoots in but McBruce avoids the takedown attempt easily. McBruce keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Pesonen fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seppo Pesonen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pesonen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McBruce as he avoids it easily. Pesonen fails to land the takedown. McBruce avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McBruce is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Pesonen defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. McBruce has the hooks in. Pesonen is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! McBruce working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McBruce is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pesonen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McBruce content just to control the position here. McBruce is working for a guillotine from mount but Pesonen frees his head quite easily.

Pesonen looking for submissions from an awkward position here. McBruce has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Pesonen defend it? McBruce steps over the head and cranks it - Pesonen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for McBruce!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bos thows a left - swing and a miss! Bos scores with a nice head shot. Pernambucano moves out of range of the strikes. Pernambucano on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Pernambucano will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A shot to de liver by Bos. Beautiful body shot. Pernambucano ducks under a wild hook from Bos. Pernambucano closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bos to the mat! Bos manages to get full guard. Pernambucano trying to control the position from guard on top but Bos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pernambucano on the ground. Pernambucano drops back looking for a leg! Bos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bos manages to kick Pernambucano off! Pernambucano jumps back into Bos's guard. Pernambucano in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Pernambucano wants to pass the guard but Bos is keeping the position. Bos uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Pernambucano moves forwards but Bos connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bos fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Bos dodges the punch combination from Pernambucano.
Pernambucano shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bos but Bos pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pernambucano looks gassed! Bos lands with a cross. Pernambucano tries for a takedown but Bos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jos Bos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Pernambucano. Pernambucano on the wrong end of a nice jab. Bos moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Bos connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pernambucano's hands. Bos connects with a body shot. Pernambucano takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Bos stuffs the takedown attempt from Pernambucano. Pernambucano gets slowly back to his feet. Nice body punch from Bos. Pernambucano shoots in looking for a takedown. Bos tries to sprawl out of it but Pernambucano keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Pernambucano takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bos tries to keep at a distance but Pernambucano has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pernambucano prevents Bos from breaking the clinch. Pernambucano is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bos gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Bos wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pernambucano tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bos is trying to break free. Pernambucano drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bos tries to break the clinch but Pernambucano is controlling the position. Bos wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pernambucano has him pressed against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pernambucano is working for takedown but Bos is calmly controlling the position for now. Knees in the clinch landing for Pernambucano.
Bos has had enough of the clinch but Pernambucano keeps him there for the moment. Pernambucano has Bos pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Pernambucano pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bos tumbling to the mat - Pernambucano dives into Bos's guard. Bos pushes Pernambucano off and gets back to his feet.
Pernambucano has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Bos throws a left and a right that both miss
and Pernambucano counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bos's guard now. Bos is working an open guard so Pernambucano takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bos throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pernambucano throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bos's waist but Bos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pernambucano off to one side. Pernambucano fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bos falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pernambucano counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bos! Pernambucano is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bos is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bos flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Pernambucano anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bos and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Pernambucano slips an arm under Bos chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Pernambucano has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Pernambucano is squeezing on Bos like an anaconda would it's prey. Bos fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tron fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Murakami on the side of the head. Tron jabbing away but nothing is landing. Tron misses with a hook. Tron connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Murakami momentarily.
A jab-cross combination lands for Tron and sends Murakami crashing to the mat! Tron follows him down to the mat - Murakami regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Murakami is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Murakami trying to control but Tron postures up.
Tron wants to control but Murakami is keeping him busy. Murakami missing with punches from the bottom.
Tron is thwarting Murakami's attempts to control the position. Murakami is trying to get back to full guard. Murakami is defending against the submission attempts here by Tron.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tron scoring with strikes to the body and head. Tron uses his free foot to push down on Murakami's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Murakami. Tron fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Tron trying to control but Murakami is having none of it. Tron tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tron can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Murakami is looking to escape. Tron get's back to his feet. Tron stuffs the takedown. Tron tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Murakami takes one to the side of the head.
Tron is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Murakami hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammar throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sting should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hammar throws a right and a left that both miss. Hammar throws a nice looking combination but Sting bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hammar jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Scorpion Sting has been cut. Hammar fails to land the takedown. Sting ducks under a wild hook from Hammar. The fight stays on the outside here - Sting looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sting tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Akseli Hammar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hammar lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Sting falls backwards - clearly groggy! Hammar dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
