Brown has chosen 50 Cent - I'll Whip Ya Head Boy as his entrance music. Akihono Jozamo had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Bobby Brown will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Liddell moves forwards but Eko connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Liddell shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Eko is looking to clinch but Liddell is avoiding it.
Eko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liddell.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Eko.
Eko is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Liddell keeps the fight on the outside.
Eko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fight stays on the outside here - Liddell looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A solid leg kick lands there for Liddell.

Liddell decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Liddell slows the pace down in half guard.
Liddell is tying to control. Eko wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Eko is trying to escape back to his feet but Liddell uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Liddell happy to just control the position for now.

Liddell postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Liddell is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Eko's shoulder. That is not cool.
Liddell trying to control the action but Eko is working from the bottom.

Liddell is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Eko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Liddell controlling from side mount.
Liddell in side control lands a decent elbow.

Mr Eko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Liddell shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Liddell was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Eko tries to buck Liddell off but he can't manage it.

Liddell is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Liddell!
