The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Erickson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Erickson tries to advance to mount but Patterson denies him. An elbow from Erickson crashes against the mat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gallas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from LaFleche. LaFleche tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Gallas misses with a two punch combination.
Gallas steps to the side to avoid the strikes from LaFleche. Gallas throws a nice looking combination but LaFleche bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gallas checks a leg kick nicely. LaFleche lands with an overhand left. Gallas moves away from the strike by LaFleche. Gallas shoots in but no luck this time. LaFleche throws a right and a left that both miss. Gallas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. William Gallas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gallas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from LaFleche. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Belial is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Belial is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Belial keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Power shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Belial as he avoids it easily.

Power shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Belial but Belial pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Philip Power. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick misses from Belial. Power shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Philip Power. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Power, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robinson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Stelian throws a right and a left that both miss. Stelian will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Stelian gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Robinson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Robinson throws a quick inside leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Stelian walks into a jab. Stelian looks to land a left hand but Robinson moved out of range nicely. Stelian moves away from the strike by Robinson. Robinson just misses with a punch to the body.
