Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Taj Hua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roddy Finnan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Hua, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Finnan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A big right from Hua misses.
Hua staying out of range there.
Hua shoots for a takedown but Finnan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Finnan lands with a nice combination. Hua backs away looking to recover.

Hua is rocked!
Finnan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Oh Hua is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Finnan.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hua.
Hua seems to have got his legs back now.

Hua shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hua showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Finnan wants to control but Hua is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Hua works his way into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hua connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Finnan momentarily.

Finnan digs a good hook to Hua's body.
Hua walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Finnan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hua.
Hua looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hua will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Finnan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hua.

Hua shoots for a double leg takedown but Finnan sprawls well. He's pushed Hua's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Redondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sergio Redondo had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
