Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Dunden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Fisher told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trevor Dunden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dunden rushes Fisher and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fisher wants to break the clinch but can't.
Dunden tries to stall but Fisher uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Fisher is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dunden is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fisher to the mat. Fisher regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Pate Boxer will probably get the nod.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Watson!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson catches Tractor napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Tractor to the canvas!

Tractor is rocked!

It looks like Hector Tractor has been cut.

Tractor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Oh Tractor is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tractor wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tractor has Watson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tractor pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Watson tumbling to the mat - Tractor dives into Watson's guard.
Tractor is pushing down on Watson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Watson is fighting to maintain full guard but Tractor has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tractor uses his free foot to push down on Watson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Watson.

Tractor jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Watson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Watson and Tractor has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tractor tries for a kimura but Watson is defending well.

Tractor tries to advance to mount but Watson denies him.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Tractor throws a strike but Watson avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Tractor has gone for a leg lock! Watson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tractor's guard.
Watson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Tractor wants to sweep but no luck.
Watson wants to control from the top but Tractor keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hector Tractor will probably get the nod.

Watson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Watson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Watson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tractor is looking to escape.

Tractor is in all sorts of trouble here.
Tractor tries to lock up and control but Watson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Tractor is looking to get to half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Watson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tractor throwing hammer fists to the chest of Watson. What's that going to do exactly?
Watson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tractor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tractor is in all sorts of trouble here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Tractor bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Sam Watson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Tractor misses with a takedown attempt - Watson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tractor is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Watson reverses the position - he's now on top in Tractor's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Tractor goes for a takedown attempt but Watson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector Tractor. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Watson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Watson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Tractor manages to get to full guard.
Tractor thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Tractor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Watson manages to get himself to full guard.
Watson has momentary wrist control but Tractor slips an elbow through the middle.

Hector Tractor showed his dominance in that final round.
