Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice wants to clinch.
Slice looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Mercado feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mercado knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slice on the ground.
Mercado is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Mercado with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Mercado stands up over Slice, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mercado passes Slice's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mercado is nestled in close to Slice, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Mercado lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Slice is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mercado scores with a couple of nice shots.

Slice is rocked!
Mercado landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Slice is still in real trouble! Can Mercado finish him?
Mercado lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Slice quite badly. Slice pulls Mercado in close trying to recover. Mercado postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Slice on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Slice doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Panzram moves into the clinch successfully.
Firefly is pressed up against the cage. Panzram has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Firefly down to the mat. Firefly avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Firefly tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Panzram swivels and escapes.
Carl Panzram seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Firefly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Panzram but Panzram pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Firefly will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Michaels rolls with it to try and escape but Negreanu cranks on the arm and Michaels is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frederik Valefar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Malians (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valefar comes to the cage accompanied by New Millenium Cyanide Christ - Meshuggah. Malians has chosen Right Now - Van Halen as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Matt Malians struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Matt Malians has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?
