Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Dyrdek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silky Slapyaface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dyrdek's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dirty Girl. Rob Dyrdek had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dyrdek tries to work over Slapyaface's front leg with a kick but Slapyaface checks it. Dyrdek swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dyrdek tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dyrdek misses with a low kick.
Dyrdek tries to clinch but Slapyaface moves out of range. Dyrdek lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Slapyaface is rocked! Slapyaface throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Slapyaface is still on wobbly legs! Can Dyrdek finish him? A choreographed right hand from Dyrdek misses the target. Dyrdek closes the distance and clinches. Slapyaface tries to break the clinch but Dyrdek is controlling the position. Dyrdek prevents the takedown attempt.
Dyrdek lands a nice uppercut. Dyrdek is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Slapyaface can't fight it off and eventually Dyrdek manages to take the fight to the floor. Slapyaface looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Slapyaface has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dyrdek can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Slapyaface is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Slapyaface seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slapyaface wants to work for an arm triangle but Dyrdek is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dyrdek keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Slapyaface moves into full mount! Dyrdek won't be happy about that! Dyrdek is breathing heavily. Slapyaface misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Slapyaface moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dyrdek has worked his arm free - good work by Dyrdek!
Slapyaface wants to take a breather but Dyrdek manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Slapyaface.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slapyaface not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Slapyaface scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Slapyaface drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slapyaface jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dyrdek working a defensive guard here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slapyaface works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slapyaface working for a guillotine from mount but Dyrdek is in no mood to give up. Slapyaface looking to control but Dyrdek is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Slapyaface moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dyrdek has worked his arm free - good work by Dyrdek!

Slapyaface trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dyrdek is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Slapyaface working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Slapyaface tries to free his leg and advance position but Dyrdek is retaining full guard. Dyrdek is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Slapyaface misses with a head kick.

Dyrdek is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dyrdek moves in looking to clinch but Slapyaface pushes him off. Slapyaface avoids a punch combination nicely.

A punch lands to the side of Dyrdek 's head but he takes it in his stride. Dyrdek tries for a takedown but Slapyaface circles away easily and Slapyaface connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Slapyaface wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A left lands for Dyrdek. Slapyaface throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dyrdek holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Dyrdek manages to break the clinch.
Dyrdek clinches but Slapyaface breaks the clinch and Slapyaface decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dyrdek's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Slapyaface trying to control but Dyrdek is working from the bottom. Slapyaface trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slapyaface prevents Dyrdek from getting back to his feet. Slapyaface stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dyrdek swivels though and keeps the full guard. Slapyaface drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dyrdek looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dyrdek looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dyrdek! Dyrdek controlling the position from side mount. Slapyaface manages to work his way to half guard, despite Dyrdek's best efforts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Silky Slapyaface showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Slapyaface is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dyrdek is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Slapyaface tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Slapyaface misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Slapyaface wants to control but Dyrdek is keeping him busy. Dyrdek parries the strikes from Slapyaface easily there. Slapyaface is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dyrdek to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dyrdek gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Slapyaface takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rob Dyrdek has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Slapyaface misses with a head shot. Slapyaface jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dyrdek manages to avoid the submission attempt. Slapyaface tries for a kimura but Dyrdek is defending well. Dyrdek is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Slapyaface has just dragged him back down to the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! Silky Slapyaface comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Slapyaface winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell shoots in looking for a takedown. Chips tries to sprawl out of it but Liddell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chips manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Chips looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Chips swinging wilding here.
Chips avoids the head kick by Liddell.
Liddell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chips swivels and escapes. Chips blocks a head kick by Liddell.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chips keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Joey Chips has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Liddell. Liddell gets a takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chips is not content to let Liddell control the position. Chips wants to improve his position but Liddell is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Liddell works his way into side control. Liddell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chips keeps working. Chips can't do much from the bottom here. Chips sneaks back into half guard. Liddell prevents Chips from improving his position. Chips manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Chuck Liddell dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Liddell throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Chips. Oh Chips is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Chips looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Liddell Rushes Chips and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Chips is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Liddell Piles on the pressure and Chips crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Davis checks it well. Davis misses with a low kick as Johnson jumps back. Davis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Johnson throws a leg kick and Davis counters with a single leg into guard. Johnson didn't expect that. Davis stands up from Johnson's guard - Davis perhaps looking for a knockout. Johnson thows a leg kick but Davis checks it and Davis counters with a series of strikes. Johnson will be more careful next time no doubt. Davis shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Davis throws a head kick that Johnson semi-blocks.
Davis cracks Johnson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Davis fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jackson Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Davis tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Davis checks a leg kick nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is looking to clinch. Davis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Johnson, pushing him back against the cage. Johnson connects with a knee to the head.

Davis tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance. A clash of legs there as Davis blocks the low kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Davis. Johnson lands a slapping body shot.

Johnson is trying to stand up here but Davis is controlling him well. Davis takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Davis thows a huge punch but Johnson dodges it nicely.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Johnson stuffs the takedown. Davis walks into a left hand. Johnson lands with a thumping leg kick.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jackson Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson throws a leg kick but Davis sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Johnson. Davis misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Davis shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Johnson scoring well with a low kick there.
Davis shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well. Davis moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off. Danga de danga de dang - Davis scores with a four punch combination! Davis is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Johnson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Davis looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Davis drives through with a takedown into guard. Johnson is looking to stand back up but Davis counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Johnson. Davis controls the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jhonson fails to land with a series of punches.

Diggler bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jhonson's head. Jhonson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Diggler lands with a nice body kick. Diggler circles away from the clinch attempt.
Diggler misses with a series of wild punches.
Diggler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jhonson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jhonson throws a nice head kick!
Jhonson throws a nice looking combination but Diggler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Diggler lands a nice shot to the body.

It looks like Canelo Jhonson has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Diggler cracks Jhonson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jhonson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Diggler pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jhonson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Natural as Silas shoots in. Natural swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Natural darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Silas trying to control from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Natural is taking a breather. Silas says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Natural missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silas is looking to improve his position.
Natural performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Natural wants to pass the guard but Silas is defending well. Natural is controlling the pace.
Natural's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Natural has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Natural seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Silas for as long as he can get away with.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Randy Natural just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Silas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Natural wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. No luck for Silas with that takedown attempt. Randy Natural has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrei Silas. Natural scores with a punch to the head. Natural takes a swing at Silas's ribcage but misses. Natural throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Silas sees it coming and avoids it easily. Natural lands with a nice body punch. Silas looks gassed! Natural darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Natural wants to pass to mount but Silas is defending the position. Silas slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randy Natural dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Natural takes a swing at Silas's ribcage but misses. Natural throws a hook but Silas blocks it. Natural feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Natural throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Natural stays in close to Silas's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Natural decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Silas steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Natural. Natural just misses with a punch to the body.
Natural throws a jab but it's blocked by Silas. Natural swings for the body but Silas moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Silas fails with the takedown. Natural throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Natural shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Silas has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Natural is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Silas. Silas is breathing heavily. Natural just content to control the position. Silas pushes Natural away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Natural gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Natural staying calm. Silas wants to get back to his feet but Natural is dominant here and he's now got Silas's back! Natural tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Silas manages to get full guard. Silas can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Natural controls the pace. Silas looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Natural puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Natural content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's got his arms around Natural's waist but Natural gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silas off to one side. Silas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Natural as he jumps to the side. Silas takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Silas gets caught flat footed, as Natural shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Natural is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silas is looking for a triangle but Natural pushes his legs off easily.
Natural is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Silas wants to sweep but no luck. Randy Natural overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Natural showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Natural closes the distance and clinches. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silas has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Natural is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Randy Natural has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrei Silas. Natural content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Andrei Silas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Natural for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meridius throws a head kick that misses. Meridius cracks a nice hook into Edwards's ribs. Meridius scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Edwards doesn't seem bothered though. Meridius looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Edwards bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Meridius tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Edwards wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Edwards scores with a couple of short elbows. Meridius is trying to get back to half guard. Meridius is working hard here to advance position. Edwards is looking to take a break and control but Meridius is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Edwards looks up at the clock and then as Meridius takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Edwards smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Meridius is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Edwards advances nicely into full mount. Edwards can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Meridius is looking to escape. Meridius manages to regain half guard. Good work. Edwards is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Meridius is trying to get back to full guard.

Edwards is nestled in close to Meridius, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Meridius is not content to let Edwards control the position. Edwards sitting and controlling from the half guard. Edwards seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Edwards seems to be looking for submissions.

Edwards pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Meridius tries to reverse the position but Edwards maintains control. Edwards working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Meridius turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Edwards off and cradles Meridius's limp body as Edwards celebrates with his corner.

That's going to take a lot out of Jay Mitchell. Richardson throws a leg kick which misses Mitchell's front leg but catches the back leg as Mitchell tries to avoid it. Mitchell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Richardson tries to avoid it but Mitchell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Richardson to the ground. Richardson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mitchell looks gassed! Richardson lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Mitchell crumples to the floor! Richardson milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoshi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mendez. That did some damage! Yoshi feints and then cracks Mendez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mendez down. A solid leg kick lands there for Yoshi.
Yoshi doesn't manage to clinch there - Mendez circles away.
Yoshi throws a sloppy head kick and Mendez moves out of range easily. Yoshi throws a low kick but Mendez avoids it. Mendez avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Mendez takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Yoshi tries to clinch up. Yoshi fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Yoshi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mendez.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Yoshi or perhaps it was just good defense by Mendez which made him look bad. Yoshi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mendez moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mendez takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Yoshi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mendez has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Yoshi. Yoshi shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taka Yoshi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yoshi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mendez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Yoshi digs a good body shot into Mendez's ribs. Yoshi misses with a looping left. Yoshi shoots in and bounces Mendez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Mendez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mendez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yoshi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mendez wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yoshi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Yoshi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mendez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mendez is trying to control the position but Yoshi postures up. Yoshi looking to pass the guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yoshi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

No joy for Yoshi on that attempt.

Yoshi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mendez but Mendez pushes him off and we're back to square one. Yoshi throws a body kick that misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Yoshi tries a head kick but it misses.

Taka Yoshi dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Yoshi clobbers Mendez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Yoshi throws a nice looking combination but Mendez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Nice takedown defense from Mendez. No joy for Yoshi on that attempt. Yoshi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mendez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Yoshi is putting a hurting on Mendez here, landing some big shots from side control. Yoshi tries to move to mount but Mendez blocks the move with his legs. Yoshi wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mendez, who protects the arm well. Mendez dodges the ground and pound from Yoshi. Yoshi trying to control the action but Mendez is working from the bottom. Mendez is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendez actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are battling for position here. Mendez manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Mendez is looking for a triangle but Yoshi pushes his legs off easily.

Mendez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Yoshi manages to get himself to full guard.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mendez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mendez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mendez tries to free his leg and advance position but Yoshi is retaining full guard. Mendez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mendez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No joy there for Yoshi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Yoshi is looking to wear down Mendez with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Yoshi tries a head kick but it misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Yoshi misses with a few strikes there.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mendez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Yoshi is looking for a triangle but Mendez pushes his legs off easily.
