The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Coleman tries for a takedown but Hobbs sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hobbs clinches up with Coleman and pushes him back against the cage.

Hobbs turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hobbs manages to end up in side control.
Coleman wants to control but Hobbs postures up.
Hobbs tries to move to mount but Coleman blocks the move with his legs.

Coleman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hobbs's waist but Hobbs gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coleman off to one side.

Coleman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hobbs is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Coleman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hobbs's back instead.
Coleman is trying to stick to Hobbs's back but Hobbs is turning into Coleman. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Coleman's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hobbs.
Coleman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Coleman in particular looking to stall.
Coleman is nestled in close to Hobbs, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Coleman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hobbs does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Knockout Jaw Popper was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Jaw Popper cracks Wilson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Nice straight punches there by Jaw Popper. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jaw Popper.

Jaw Popper cracks Wilson with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Wilson falls to his knees and Jaw Popper doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
