The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallase rushes No Friends and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Wallase prevents No Friends from breaking the clinch. No Friends can't break the clinch.
Wallase successfully pulls guard.
Wallase keeping moving, preventing No Friends from controlling successfully. Wallase is trying to control the position but No Friends postures up. Wallase being controlled here, momentarily. No Friends preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No Friends slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wallase lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for No Friends!

No Friends takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. No Friends is looking to get to half guard. Wallase swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hopsan Barley! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barley moves in looking to clinch but Siet pushes him off. Barley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Barley throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Siet utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Barley wants to pass the guard but Siet is keeping the position. Barley trying to control the position from guard on top but Siet is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Siet is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Barley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Barley tries to free his leg and advance position but Siet is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Siet closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Siet is controlling the pace.
Barley flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barley tries to get to full guard but Siet has control of the leg. Siet uses his free foot to push down on Barley's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Barley. Barley is working to get back to half guard.
Barley regains half guard. Siet is working for a submission of some sort.
Barley is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Siet has latched onto it... Big trouble! Siet pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Barley is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Siet!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pavelic shoots in and drives through. Smart sprawls well. Pavelic fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Smart. Pavelic shrugs it off though. Pavelic feints and as Smart raises his hands in defense, Pavelic changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Smart is looking to stand up but Pavelic isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Pavelic looking to pass the guard. Pavelic sitting in guard here, content to control. Smart wants to stand but Pavelic is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pavelic looking to sit in guard and control but Smart gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Pavelic is working an open guard so Smart takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Pavelic throws a hook to the side of Smart's head but Smart sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Pavelic closes the distance and clinches up with Smart, looking for a takedown. Pavelic pushes Smart against the cage but Smart circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Pavelic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pavelic fails miserably with a takedown attempt. No luck for Pavelic with that takedown attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pavelic wants to control from the top but Smart keeps moving. Pavelic is breathing heavily. Pavelic stands up and waves to Smart to follow him. Pavelic checks a leg kick. Smart shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Pavelic counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pavelic is working for a kimura but Smart is defending it quite comfortably.

Smart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pavelic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pavelic is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Smart pushes Pavelic off and gets back to his feet. Smart fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Smart throws a series of punches but Pavelic moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Smart is trying to get back to his feet. Pavelic is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Smart has escaped the position, nice work there. Pavelic swings around for an armbar but Smart sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Pavelic's guard. Pavelic looking to control.
Smart stands and steps away. Pavelic gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Smart doesn't manage to clinch there - Pavelic circles away.

Rod Smart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pavelic shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Smart holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Smart is pressed up against the cage. Pavelic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Smart down to the mat. Smart avoids the attempt though and has circled away. Pavelic thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Pavelic looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Pavelic misses with the ground and pound. Pavelic working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Smart is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Pavelic fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Pavelic. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pavelic shoots in but Smart avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pavelic shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smart pinned against the cage. Smart gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pavelic fails to land the takedown.

Rod Smart has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Smart slips under a jab. Smart tries to clinch but Pavelic moves out of range. Smart takes a swing at Pavelic's ribcage but misses. Smart looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Pavelic shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pavelic showed some decent athleticism there. Smart tries to kick Pavelic off but Pavelic keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Pavelic passes the guard and advances to mount! Pavelic takes Smart's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Smart is in trouble. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pavelic looking to break Smart's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Smart remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Pavelic will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
And that's the end of the fight! Ivan Pavelic showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pavelic, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Campbell catches Tortellini napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Tortellini to the canvas!
It looks like Squidward Tortellini has been cut. Campbell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tortellini looking for a guillotine here but Campbell defends easily.
Campbell controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tortellini has his foot on Campbell's thigh. Kozlov looks for a takedown but Ruas sprawls well. Kozlov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Ruas misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kozlov throws a looping overhand right but Ruas ducks down to avoid it. Kozlov shoots in but Ruas avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ruas slips a jab from Kozlov. Ruas takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kozlov wants to clinch up but Ruas keeps it at a distance. No joy there for Ruas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ruas tries to bum rush Kozlov with a series of wild strikes but Kozlov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kozlov displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Ruas is rocked! Kozlov has closed the distance and engaged Ruas in a clinch.
Kozlov digs a right hand underneath Ruas's ribcage. Ruas let out a lung full of air as it connected. Kozlov blocks the elbow strike.
Kozlov is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. A left hand lands to the body for Kozlov.
Ruas fails to pull guard.
Ruas looking to throw knees to the head but Kozlov is blocking nicely.
Kozlov goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ruas prevents it.
Kozlov is breathing heavily. Kozlov blocks an elbow strike. Ruas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kozlov tries for a takedown but Ruas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ruas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kozlov circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vladdy Kozlov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kozlov looks to land a left hand but Ruas moved out of range nicely. Ruas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kozlov but Kozlov pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ruas shoots in for a double leg but Kozlov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruas throws a jab when Kozlov was well out of range. Ruas looks to land a combination but Kozlov avoids it well. Vladdy Kozlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown by Kozlov or perhaps it was just good defense by Ruas which made him look bad. Good standup being displayed there by Kozlov as he connects with a hook. Ruas moves out of range of the strikes. Kozlov throws a right hand that Ruas ducks under and follows up with a left that Ruas also avoids with ease. Kozlov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ruas misses with a looping right.

Ruas cracks Kozlov with a right hand to the side of the head. Nice takedown defense from Ruas. No joy for Kozlov on that attempt. Ruas misses with a body shot.

That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ruas has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ruas is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kozlov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kozlov throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Ruas tries for a kimura but Kozlov is defending well. Ruas working the ground and pound but Kozlov is defending the strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Marco Ruas showed his dominance in that final round. I think Ruas has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tafoya takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Noah Tafoya has been cut. Tafoya avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Tafoya looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jokinen just misses with a punch to the body.
Jokinen swings for the body but Tafoya moves out of range.
Jokinen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tafoya backs up against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Emelianenko showed some decent athleticism there. Emelianenko is looking for a kimura here.

Emelianenko is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fridman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Emelianenko.

Emelianenko tries to pass the half guard into mount. Fridman knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Emelianenko missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Emelianenko wants to free his trapped foot but Fridman is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Emelianenko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Emelianenko shoots in for a takedown but Fridman shows good takedown defense. Emelianenko looks gassed! Fridman tries a head kick but it misses.
Fridman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fridman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Emelianenko to the mat! Emelianenko manages to get full guard. Fridman stopping the sweep attempt from Emelianenko. Emelianenko has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fridman is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Emelianenko. Fridman stands up and we're back to a striking position. Fridman digs a good body shot into Emelianenko's ribs. Fridman dances in with a quick combination. Emelianenko is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Fridman snaps Emelianenko's head back. Emelianenko stumbles backwards against the cage. Fridman steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Emelianenko's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Emelianenko just didn't come prepared.
