Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rob Roland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Faulton Hardstaff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roland is looking to clinch but Hardstaff is avoiding it.

Roland fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hardstaff, pushing him back against the cage.

Hardstaff changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Roland looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mauricio Rua was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Nice takedown defense from Rua. No joy for Palichini on that attempt.

Rua remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Good leg kick by Pierre there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Pierre gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Silva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pierre is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pierre's back instead.

Silva has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Pierre has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Yrjo Pierre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

I think Rabago might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lungs Like Gallows. The key to victory for Adam Rabago has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Muller throws a right hand that Rabago ducks under and follows up with a left that Rabago also avoids with ease.
Muller is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rabago shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Rabago shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Muller but Muller pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Muller throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rabago sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rabago swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rabago closes the distance and clinches up with Muller, looking for a takedown. Rabago pushes Muller against the cage but Muller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Muller lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Muller is looking to clinch.
Rabago pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Muller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rabago, pushing him back against the cage.

Rabago ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rabago no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Muller is looking to defend but Rabago has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Muller! Rabago pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Muller taps out and this one is all over!
