The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peeen misses with a double jab.
Socamo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Socamo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Peeen.
Peeen misses with a few strikes there.
Amsel Socamo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Socamo fails with a takedown attempt.
Socamo throws a right and a left that Peeen avoids nicely.

Peeen takes a swing at Socamo's ribcage but misses.
Peeen lands with a big left! Socamo is wobbled badly! Peeen comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Socamo to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirkson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shain tries to avoid it but Kirkson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shain to the ground. Shain escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kirkson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kirkson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kirkson tries to clinch but Shain is having none of it.
Shain avoids the head kick by Kirkson.
