Fargus shoots in looking for a takedown. Fatu tries to sprawl out of it but Fargus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fatu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown by Fargus or perhaps it was just good defense by Fatu which made him look bad.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quagmire looks to score with a jab to the body but Joe is just out of range.

Joe throws a looping overhand right but Quagmire ducks down to avoid it.

Horrible takedown by Joe or perhaps it was just good defense by Quagmire which made him look bad.

Quagmire throws a left that rocks Joe and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Quagmire dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Joe regain composure!

Quagmire is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Joe is still in real trouble! Can Quagmire finish him?
Quagmire stands up and beckons Joe to his feet.
Sloppy Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quagmire throws a good cross that connects.
Joe seems to have recovered his senses.
Quagmire cracks Joe with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
