4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Man! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Man paws at him with a jab and circles away. Oz tries to clinch up. Oz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Man misses with a takedown attempt - Oz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Oz is looking to clinch. The fighters circling - Oz throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Oz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Man backs up against the cage.
Oz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Oz thuds a left hand into Man's body. Oz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Oz wants to clinch up but Man keeps it at a distance. Oz throws a good cross that connects.
Whizzer Oz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Man tries to pull guard but Oz holds him up against the cage and eventually Man drops back down to his feet.

Oz tries to clinch but Man is having none of it. Man tries to keep at a distance but Oz has taken the fight into the clinch. Oz gets underhooks to prevent Man's takedown attempt.

Oz scores with a shoulder strike. Man tries to pull guard but Oz holds him up against the cage and eventually Man drops back down to his feet.

Oz is trying to break the clinch but Man has him pressed against the cage. Oz lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Man backwards. Oz has had enough of the clinch but Man keeps him there for the moment.

Oz sprawls well initially but Man persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Oz wants to get back to his feet. Oz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Man on the ground. Man is breathing heavily. Oz is looking to get back to is feet but Man passes into side control.
Man is looking to take a break and control but Oz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Oz is trying to control Man's posture but Man avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man moves into full mount! Man looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Oz keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oz tries to hold on but Man postures up. Oz regains half guard. Man is looking to advance position but Oz won't allow it. Oz wants to improve his position but Man is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Oz closes the distance and clinches. Oz is trying to break the clinch but Man has him pressed against the cage. A quick uppercut on the inside from Oz. Man goes for a takedown in the clinch but Oz prevents it.

Whizzer Oz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Man takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Man is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Man takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Man is taking damage to the body and head. Oz is riding his opponent, not letting Man buck him off. Man tries to break free.
Man is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Man trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oz tries to get the hooks in deep but Man pushed the leg off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oz scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Man is looking for a way out. Oz cracks Man with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Man from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Oz not allowing Man to control his hands. Oz lands an elbow to the side of the head. Oz wants to control but Man is keeping busy. Man covers up after that shot from Oz.

Dempsey kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Linkin Park - Bleed it Out. Tianjengo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tianjengo swats away the attempt to clinch by Phonics. Tianjengo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Phonics can pounce on him.

Victory has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hoy is really squeezing tight and eventually Victory passes out! Hoy breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
