The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verkowski walks into a stiff left hand from Parsons.
Parsons looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Parsons throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jengo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Même Pas Fatigué. On his way into the cage it seems that Bongani Jengo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bongani Jengo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Teichroew drops his hands momentarily and Deagle takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Deagle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Teichroew is trying desperately to improve position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Deagle cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Deagle is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Teichroew is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Teichroew flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Deagle anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Teichroew and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Deagle slips an arm under Teichroew chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Deagle has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Deagle is squeezing on Teichroew like an anaconda would it's prey. Teichroew fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
