Odachowski shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jerzy Odachowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

T comes into the arena with Kiss From a Rose blaring out of the sound system. Machida has chosen Do The Ayatollah as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

T does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Flinta shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Luger pinned against the cage. Luger gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Flinta tries for a takedown but Luger sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Luger is looking to slow Flinta down with leg kicks.
Flinta throws a head kick but Luger moves out of range.

Good leg kick by Luger there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Flinta sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TheRipper shoots in looking for a takedown. Brownstone tries to sprawl out of it but TheRipper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brownstone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
TheRipper uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brownstone.
Good leg kick by Brownstone there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nice body kick from Brownstone.
Brownstone dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on TheRipper. That did some damage!
TheRipper looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brownstone fakes the body blow, causing TheRipper to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! TheRipper goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
