The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phoenix needs to keep his hands up - Thompson had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Paul Phoenix has been cut. Thompson has Phoenix up against the ropes in a clinch.
Thompson is trying to break free. Phoenix breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thompson looks to land a combination but Phoenix avoids it well. Thompson cracks Phoenix with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Phoenix falls to his knees and Thompson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Graham throws a jab when Pryce was well out of range. Graham looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Pryce feints and as Graham raises his hands in defense, Pryce changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Pryce wants to pass the guard but Graham is keeping the position. Pryce trying to control but Graham is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pryce throwing strikes from guard but Graham blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pryce trying to control the position from guard on top but Graham is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Graham pushes Pryce off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Pryce looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Graham keeping moving, preventing Pryce from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pryce looking to pass the guard. Graham is looking to stand back up but Pryce counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Graham. Graham tries to control but Pryce manages to take his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Graham fending off the submission attempt from Pryce. Pryce is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wesley Pryce dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Pryce closes this distance looking for a takedown but Graham circles away. Graham looks to land a combination but Pryce avoids it well. Graham swinging wilding here.
Pryce displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Graham throws out the jab. Pryce keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Graham. Nice sprawl there from Graham as Pryce shoots in. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Graham throws a sloppy head kick and Pryce moves out of range easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Excellent takedown into side control there by Pryce. Pryce working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Graham trying to control but Pryce flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pryce is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Graham won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Pryce off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Wesley Pryce! Wesley Pryce retains his middleweight title!
