The bell rings for round one and we are underway! lage has closed the distance and engaged DeSalvo in a clinch.
lage keeps control of DeSalvo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. lage breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. lage has a takedown stuffed. lage is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from DeSalvo. lage throws a nice looking combination but DeSalvo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. DeSalvo has his takedown stuffed and lage counters with a head kick that drops DeSalvo - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!

He's slipped one arm under the chin. DeSalvo has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but lage has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! DeSalvo taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. lage doesn't care though - he's delighted!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! buddz shoots in and bounces Aliyev off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. buddz trying to control but Aliyev is working from the bottom. Aliyev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but buddz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. buddz trying to control the position from guard on top but Aliyev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Aliyev throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
buddz wants to control from the top but Aliyev keeps moving. Aliyev looking to hit a scissor sweep but buddz is one step ahead there. buddz decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Aliyev jabs buddz right on the nose. buddz blinks but takes it well. Heydar Aliyev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aliyev missing with a left hand there. buddz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. buddz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Aliyev circles away. Heydar Aliyev is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Aliyev lands a head kick that stumbles buddz and the fighters go to the mat.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Aliyev looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
buddz has hold of Aliyev's hands but Aliyev slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. buddz wants to control but Aliyev is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chekov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Harry fails with the takedown. Harry fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Harry fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dirty Harry. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chekov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Chekov throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Harry fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Harry throws a hook but Chekov avoids it easily. Harry shoots in looking for a takedown. Chekov tries to sprawl out of it but Harry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chekov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Chekov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Harry. Chekov tries to avoid it but Harry manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chekov to the ground. Chekov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Harry tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chekov swivels and escapes. Harry shoots in and drives through. Chekov sprawls well. A right-left combo lands from Chekov. Harry on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Chekov cracks Harry with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Chekov tries to clinch but Harry moves out of range. Chekov displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Harry closes the distance and clinches up with Chekov, looking for a takedown. Harry pushes Chekov against the cage but Chekov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Harry fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chekov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Harry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chekov pinned against the cage. Chekov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Chekov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Chekov scores with a body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chekov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Harry has time to react. Chekov clinches up against the cage. Chekov breaks the clinch.

Chekov rushes Harry and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Chekov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chekov ducks under a wild hook from Harry. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Chekov!
Chekov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Harry takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Harry is rocked! Harry walks into a stiff left hand from Chekov. Oh Harry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Chekov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Harry shoots in and drives through. Chekov sprawls well. Chekov with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Harry closes the distance and clinches up with Chekov, looking for a takedown. Harry pushes Chekov against the cage but Chekov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Chekov lands with a big left! Harry is wobbled badly! Chekov comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Harry to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barkley closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stojakovic circles away. Stojakovic looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Barkley moves in looking to clinch but Stojakovic pushes him off. Barkley fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Barkley looks for a takedown but Stojakovic sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Foster Barkley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Barkley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stojakovic swivels and escapes. Barkley has a takedown stuffed. Barkley tries for a takedown but Stojakovic sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barkley feints and as Stojakovic raises his hands in defense, Barkley changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Barkley sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stojakovic's guard. Stojakovic tries to kick Barkley off but Barkley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Stojakovic is pressing down on Barkley's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Barkley drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Barkley seems to have locked his on tight now - Stojakovic screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Barkley, as he picks up the win!

Graf drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
