0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Timoth Mithchell! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wandler takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Mithchell fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wandler. Wandler wants to clinch up but Mithchell keeps it at a distance. Mithchell fails with a takedown attempt. Mithchell looks to land a combination but Wandler avoids it well. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mithchell, right into the meat.
Wandler is breathing heavily. Wandler tries to close the distance and clinch but Mithchell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mithchell lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. This has been an exciting period of action! Wandler has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Mithchell. Wandler scores a takedown into full mount! Mithchell is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Wandler with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Mithchell is trying to stand. Mithchell is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Mithchell manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Mithchell is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Wandler postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wandler pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mithchell is keeping the position for now. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wandler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mithchell's guard. Wandler is pressing down on Mithchell's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mithchell is holding on for now. Wandler is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wandler wants to control but Mithchell is keeping him busy. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Mithchell is trying to stand up here but Wandler is controlling him well. Mithchell pushes Wandler off but Wandler dives into side control.

Mithchell tries to free his leg and advance position but Wandler is retaining full guard. Mithchell is looking to stand up but Wandler won't let him. Wandler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mithchell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mithchell tries to stand but Wandler is controlling from the bottom. Wandler is working an open guard so Mithchell takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Mithchell lands with a right and another and another! Wandler is in big trouble! Mithchell lands again and this time it's lights out for Wandler! A quality knockout there for Mithchell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan shoots in looking for a takedown. Masters tries to sprawl out of it but Morgan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Masters manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Morgan scoring well with a low kick there.
Morgan looks to land a combination but Masters avoids it well. Masters has managed to clinch.
Masters breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Masters with a hook. Masters misses with a straight right. Masters swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Morgan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Masters's guard. Masters wants to hit a switch here but Morgan passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Masters there! Masters defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Morgan. Morgan wants to take Masters's back here but Masters is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Masters tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Morgan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Masters is trying to control Morgan's posture but Morgan avoids it.

Morgan blocks a low kick nicely. Masters throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Morgan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Masters tries to score with a low kick but Morgan moves his leg out of the way. Morgan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Masters. Masters lands a jab to the head.
Morgan is rocked! Masters is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Morgan flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Morgan is out cold! Masters holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dayton looks to land a combination. Kovacs sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Kovacs connects with a nice cross there... Dayton is looking wobbly and Kovacs recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Dayton to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Kovacs jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Mitsusada gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sanchez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Sanchez stops Mitsusada from standing up. Sanchez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mitsusada is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sanchez, into his guard. Mitsusada preventing the sweep. Mitsusada wanted to stand there but Sanchez had control of the position. Sanchez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mitsusada's guard.

Sanchez has hold of Mitsusada's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mitsusada manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Mitsusada swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sanchez. A lazy left from Mitsusada finds it's target. Mitsusada looks to land a left hand but Sanchez moved out of range nicely. Sanchez has his takedown stuffed and Mitsusada counters with a low kick, right behind Sanchez 's knee. Daizu Mitsusada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pedro Sanchez.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mitsusada scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Sanchez blocks a head kick by Mitsusada.
Mitsusada misses with an uppercut. Sanchez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mitsusada to the mat! Mitsusada manages to get full guard. Sanchez trying to control but Mitsusada is working from the bottom. Sanchez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sanchez wants to pass the guard but Mitsusada is keeping the position. Sanchez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pedro Sanchez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
The crowd cheers as Mitsusada lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sanchez doesn't seem phased though. Sanchez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mitsusada to score with a decent uppercut. Mitsusada avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Mitsusada pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanchez tries for a takedown but Mitsusada circles away easily and Mitsusada connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sanchez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez moves out of range of the body kick. Sanchez shoots in for a double leg but Mitsusada sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mitsusada lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sanchez backs up against the cage.
Sanchez is still on wobbly legs! Can Mitsusada finish him? Sanchez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sanchez lands in his opponent's guard. Sanchez seems to have recovered his senses. Sanchez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mitsusada is keeping the position for now. Mitsusada wants to sweep but no luck. Sanchez gets to his feet - Mitsusada follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mitsusada circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mitsusada is looking to stand up but Sanchez isn't so interested in that idea. Sanchez controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Mitsusada is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Mitsusada throws the kick towards the body but Sanchez avoids it. Sanchez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Daizu Mitsusada. I think Sanchez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Trenton working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Stevens. Trenton lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stevens! Stevens is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Stevens is controlling an arm, preventing Trenton from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Stevens defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Trenton. Stevens bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Trenton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stevens is one step ahead there. Trenton looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Stevens seems to be working for a kimura but Trenton defends the submission attempt. Stevens has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Still in half guard, Stevens seems content to control. Trenton trying to control from the bottom.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lingad lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Green has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Green and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Lingad avoids a kick to the body.
