The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edberg needs to keep his hands up - Rapidus had a free shot at his head there.
Edberg steps into range and cracks Rapidus with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Rapidus flops backwards and Edberg dives into his guard looking to finish!

Rapidus stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Edberg.

Edberg throws a series of punches but Rapidus moves out of range.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Edberg takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Rapidus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Edberg looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Edberg walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rapidus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Edberg is rocked!
Rapidus darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Edberg's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Rapidus before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
