Colbert lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Sakic is looking to close the distance but Colbert sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Sakic crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Sakic is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Curtis Jackson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Curtis Jackson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Jackson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jackson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cross has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Cross has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jackson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Cross changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jackson fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Cross has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though.
Jackson wants to stand but Cross has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Jackson is sitting in close to Cross's body. Cross has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Jackson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Jackson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cross.
