I think Smith might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You're Going Down by Sick Puppies. Jesus Christ struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith darts in and clinches Christ up against the cage. Christ looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Christ lands a nice shot to the body. Smith breaks the clinch.
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Smith stalks Christ and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Christ's face. Christ staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Jesus Christ has been cut. Smith is looking to clinch but Christ is avoiding it.
Smith connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Smith doesn't manage to clinch there - Christ circles away.
Smith wants to clinch up but Christ keeps it at a distance. Smith lands a with a good body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smith gets a clinch. Smith breaks from the clinch.
Christ gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Smith trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Smith gets to his feet. Christ looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Smith clinches up against the cage. Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Christ is rocked! Smith keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Christ's head. Christ is still in real trouble! Can Smith finish him? Smith lands a couple of elbows. Smith stands and throws Christ's legs to the side, diving into side control. Smith decides to take the fight back to the feet. Christ seems to have recovered his senses. A lazy left from Smith finds it's target. Smith drops Christ with a left and a right! Oh, Christ is hurt - Smith dives into side control looking to finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smith stands up and beckons Christ to his feet. Smith pushes Christ up against the cage in a clinch. Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Smith counters with a stiff right hand. Christ looks to throw a body kick and Smith counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Christ's guard now. Smith stands up from Christ's guard - Smith perhaps looking for a knockout. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
