Wendell closes the distance and clinches.
Virtanen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A short right hand to the side of the head by Wendell.
Wendell prevents Virtanen from breaking the clinch.
Wendell digs a right hand underneath Virtanen's ribcage. Virtanen let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Wendell wants the takedown. Virtanen is fighting it off but Wendell persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Virtanen's guard against the cage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Keenen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Shoulder is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Keenen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Shoulder's back instead.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Keenen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Shoulder has Keenen pulled in close to control his posture.
Keenen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shoulder works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Keenen wants to pass the guard but Shoulder is keeping the position.
Jack Keenen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Shoulder lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Keenen !
Shoulder tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
