The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gregovich circles away. Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Silva showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gregovich.
Gregovich misses with a two punch combination.
Gregovich lands a left and a right that sends Silva crashing to the canvas! Gregovich dives into mount looking to finish!

He's got his arms around LAMB's waist but LAMB gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Augusto off to one side. LAMB tries to clinch up but Augusto circles away and keeps his distance. Paskiainen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Silva takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Baggins looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Halibut bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Halibut Halibut has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Halibut working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Halibut chips away with some ground and pound.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Charyak fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Johnson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Charyak. Johnson shrugs it off though. Charyak scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Johnson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! A nice inside leg kick there by Charyak. That's going to slow Johnson down. Charyak comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Charyak throws a quick inside leg kick. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Charyak lands a head kick that stumbles Johnson and the fighters go to the mat. Charyak stands up and waves to Johnson to follow him. Charyak connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Charyak closes the distance and lands a one-two. Charyak throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Johnson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The fighters circle momentarily. Charyak darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Charyak misses with a low kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson throwing shots but missing, from side control. You can see the frustration on Charyak's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Charyak looking for a sweep but Johnson has passed into full mount! Oh no! Charyak gets back to half guard. Charyak is defending against the submission attempts here by Johnson.

Charyak wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him. Charyak is pulling down on Johnson's head. It's preventing any offense from Johnson, at least for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Charyak's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Charyak striking off his back but it's not causing Johnson any problems. Charyak moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Johnson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Charyak throws a nice inside leg kick. Johnson tries to clinch but fails miserably enabling Charyak to counter with a crisp jab. Johnson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Charyak swats him away and circles back towards the center. Charyak with a nice cross.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Charyak throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson. Some wild striking there from Charyak.
Johnson shoots and misses and Charyak counters with a nice low kick that buckles Johnson's knee momentarily. Johnson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A slow jab from Johnson misses its intended target. Charyak lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Charyak misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Johnson.
Johnson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Charyak throws an overhand right that lands on Johnson's shoulder, as Johnson tries to avoid the shot. Johnson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Johnson closes the distance looking to clinch and Charyak counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Johnson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Charyak counters with a head kick. That will keep Johnson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Charyak shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Nick Johnson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Johnson tries to clinch but fails miserably and Johnson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Johnson scores a takedown into full mount! Johnson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Charyak is now in Johnson's guard. A big mistake from Johnson there, giving up the dominant position! Craig Charyak is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Charyak will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Charyak gets to his feet - Johnson follows without any prompting. Johnson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Johnson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Johnson drops his hands momentarily and Charyak takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Johnson on the wrong end of a nice jab. The fighters circle momentarily. Charyak darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Charyak connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Johnson throws a right and a left that Charyak avoids nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Craig Charyak showed his dominance in that final round. Well Charyak has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
