The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Porrieste dodges the punch combination from Ojala.
Ojala looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Ojala swats away the attempt to clinch by Porrieste. Porrieste shoots in for a takedown but Ojala shows good takedown defense. An inside leg kick lands from Porrieste. Porrieste bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Ojala prevents Porrieste from improving position. Porrieste lands a few punches from side control. Porrieste happy to just control the position for now. Porrieste wants to control but Ojala is keeping him busy. Porrieste landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

Porrieste lands a heavy elbow. Porrieste stands up from mount. Strange move. Porrieste darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ojala looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Porrieste passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ojala! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Porrieste scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Greg Porrieste is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ojala shoots and misses and Porrieste counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Porrieste. Ojala wants to control but Porrieste passes easily into half guard.
Porrieste works his way into full mount! Porrieste is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ojala can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Greg Porrieste overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Porrieste in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ojala tries to hold on but Porrieste postures up. Porrieste wants to control the pace but Ojala is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Porrieste scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Porrieste lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Ojala hang on? Porrieste tries to control but Ojala wriggling away.

What's that going to do exactly? Porrieste is landing with some decent strikes but Ojala is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Porrieste has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Porrieste controlling the pace for now. Ojala is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A nice elbow there by Porrieste.

Ojala looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Porrieste avoiding Ojala 's attempts to control his hands. Porrieste controlling well, preventing Ojala from escaping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ojala turns into Porrieste and is now in his guard.
Ojala wants to stand and escape but instead Porrieste has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Porrieste throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ojala's waist but Ojala gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Porrieste off to one side. Porrieste fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ojala goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Porrieste lands with a right hand. Porrieste will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg Porrieste. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ojala closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Check out the look on Ojala's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

He's bucked Ojala off and has taken his back! Porrieste is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Ojala. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Porrieste is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ojala knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ojala for a finish.

After initially coming in at 136.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The key to victory for clark McCahon has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCahon is looking to take this fight into the clinch. McCahon doesn't manage to clinch there - Ghandi circles away.
McCahon looks for a takedown but Ghandi sprawls well. McCahon moves in looking to clinch but Ghandi pushes him off. Ghandi circles away from the clinch attempt.
McCahon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Ghandi is looking to improve his position but McCahon isn't that keen on the idea. Ghandi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ghandi wants to hold on but McCahon pushes him away. Ghandi regains half guard. McCahon wants to control but Ghandi is keeping him busy.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ghandi throwing strikes but McCahon manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Ghandi manages to work his way to half guard, despite McCahon's best efforts. Ghandi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McCahon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. McCahon pushes Ghandi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ghandi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Ghandi goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, McCahon rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ghandi's guard! Nice work there by McCahon! Ghandi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McCahon pulls guard effortlessly. Ghandi is in close to McCahon's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ghandi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ghandi passes McCahon's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ghandi slips a nice elbow through McCahon's hands, connecting with McCahon's forehead. Ghandi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McCahon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ghandi. McCahon is in trouble now - Ghandi has advanced to mount!

Ghandi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McCahon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ghandi has McCahon in his guard. Ghandi is looking for a triangle but McCahon pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ghandi looking to hit a scissor sweep but McCahon is one step ahead there. Ghandi has his foot on McCahon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McCahon works his way back into a safe position though. McCahon trying to control but Ghandi is working from the bottom. Ghandi throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Ghandi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. McCahon is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ghandi. clark McCahon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ghandi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked McCahon off and has taken his back!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mbugua!
The Devil throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. The Devil misses with a wild body shot. The Devil finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
The Devil shoots in but no luck this time. The Devil misses with a takedown attempt - Mbugua sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mbugua misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The Devil tries for a takedown but Mbugua sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesse The Devil. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Devil attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. The Devil misses with a leg kick. The Devil blocks a head kick by Mbugua.
The Devil fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mbugua is out of range. Mbugua lands a head kick!
The Devil throws a body punch but Mbugua moves out of range. Mbugua rushes The Devil and presses him up against the cage. Mbugua breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The Devil misses with a low kick as Mbugua jumps back. Good work by Mbugua as he checks the leg kick. The Devil is looking to score with low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mbugua throws a quick inside leg kick. The Devil takes a kick to the side of the head. The Devil throws a chopping leg kick but Mbugua manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Mbugua lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Mbugua throws a nice head kick!
Mbugua looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Mbugua gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The Devil pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mbugua is keeping the position for now. The Devil won't allow Mbugua to get back to his feet. The Devil is stalling in the full guard. The Devil looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Devil stands and throws Mbugua's legs to the side, diving into side control. The Devil tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no The Devil has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Mbugua takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The Devil in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mbugua is not content to let The Devil control the position. Mbugua is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, The Devil asserts his dominance and retains side control. The Devil fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Mbugua is looking for a sweep. The Devil working away. The Devil advances to full mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, The Devil cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The Devil is working for a guillotine from mount but Mbugua frees his head quite easily.
The Devil moves to back control. The Devil has got one arm under Mbugua's chin. This could be trouble... Mbugua trying to control the other hand but The Devil gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Mbugua has tapped out! The fight is over!

Lukens has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tyson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tyson works his way to full guard. Good work. Tyson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lukens is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tyson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lukens's back instead. Lukens is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Tyson gets his way!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Svenn moves in looking to clinch but Cavalera pushes him off. Svenn thows a body shot but no joy. Svenn misses with an uppercut. Cavalera saw that one coming. Svenn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cavalera pinned against the cage. Cavalera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
