The bell rings for round one and we are underway! andalou circles away from the clinch attempt.
andalou looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Biller misses with a few strikes there.
Biller scores a takedown into full mount! andalou really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Biller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Biller has isolated one of andalou's arms. andalou looking to fight him off but Biller twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, B J Sherk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Cardy! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Sherk or perhaps it was just good defense by Cardy which made him look bad. Sherk throws a sloppy head kick and Cardy moves out of range easily. Sherk throws a nice inside leg kick. Sherk uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cardy. Cardy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sherk doesn't manage to clinch there - Cardy circles away.
Cardy moves away from the strike by Sherk. Sherk moves in looking to clinch but Cardy pushes him off. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sherk. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sherk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cardy moves away. Sherk bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Cardy is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sherk advances to full mount. Cardy sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Sherk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cardy keeps working. Cardy tries to kick Sherk off but Sherk keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Cardy actively working from the bottom here. Cardy is refusing to be controlled, as Sherk sits in half guard. Sherk is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Sherk looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Cardy tries to get to full guard but Sherk has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sherk takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Sherk fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sherk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cardy sprawls well initially but Sherk persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sherk working the head and body with strikes. Cardy trying to control from the bottom.
Cardy pushes Sherk off looking to stand but Sherk dives back in and keeps control.
Sherk looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cardy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sherk is working for a submission of some sort.
Sherk is breathing heavily. Sherk tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cardy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cardy is defending against the submission attempts here by Sherk.
Sherk is tying to control. Cardy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Cardy throws a sloppy head kick and Sherk counters with a good, hard body kick but Cardy shrugs it off. The fight stays on the outside here - Sherk looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sherk is looking to clinch but Cardy is avoiding it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sherk throws a lazy head kick and Cardy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A head kick misses from Sherk. Cardy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Cardy fails in his attempt to clinch. Sherk tries to clinch but Cardy moves away and Cardy counters with a left to the body. Sherk tries to clinch up but Cardy circles away and keeps his distance. Sherk pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cardy avoids the head kick by Sherk.
Sherk throws a sloppy head kick and Cardy moves out of range easily. Sherk thows a body shot but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
B J Sherk dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sherk throws a head kick that misses. Sherk waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Cardy. Sherk closes the distance but Cardy moves to the side and Cardy counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Cardy is trying to stall.

Sherk wants the takedown. Cardy is fighting it off but Sherk persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cardy's guard against the cage. Cardy keeping busy on the bottom but Sherk has passed one foot through into half guard.
Sherk thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Cardy to regain full guard. Cardy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sherk doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sherk manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sherk pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cardy is keeping the position for now. Sherk drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cardy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cardy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cardy! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sherk manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cardy's best efforts. Sherk is looking to improve his position.
Sherk works his way to full guard. Good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sherk escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cardy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cardy trying to control the position from guard on top but Sherk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cardy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sherk trying to control the position here. Sherk keeping moving, preventing Cardy from controlling successfully. Cardy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cardy wants to pass the guard but Sherk is keeping the position. Sherk looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sherk looking to control but Cardy is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sherk looking to secure an arm triangle but Cardy defends it well. Sherk gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Cardy shoots in for a takedown but Sherk shows good takedown defense. Sherk looks to clinch and Cardy counters with a big head kick but Sherk shrugs it off. Sherk wants to clinch up but Cardy keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
B J Sherk dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Cardy throws a head kick that misses and Sherk counters by moving into the clinch. Sherk misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cardy.

Sherk pulls Cardy in close to his closed guard and prevents Cardy from doing any damage or advancing position. Cardy avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Sherk makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Cardy throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sherk. Cardy throws a head kick but Sherk moves out of range.
Sherk tries to close the distance and clinch but Cardy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sherk misses the shot to the body. Cardy misses with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cardy tries to clinch but fails miserably and Sherk counters by clinching up. Sherk trying to land knees to the body.
Sherk has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cardy uses from the top position. Sherk is trying to keep Cardy in close.
Cardy trying to control but Sherk is working from the bottom. Sherk is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sherk has his foot on Cardy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cardy works his way back into a safe position though. Cardy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sherk swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sherk wants to sweep here but Cardy controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sherk is trying to hold Cardy in close to prevent damage but Cardy has managed to pass into half guard.
Cardy wants to control but Sherk is keeping him busy. Cardy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sherk makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sherk. Cardy stopping the sweep attempt from Sherk.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Cardy drops back looking for a leg! Sherk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sherk manages to kick Cardy off! Cardy jumps back into Sherk's guard. Dan Cardy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sherk looking for a guillotine here but Cardy defends easily.

And that's the end of the fight! B J Sherk showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sherk has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Very smooth. Jackson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Vores's best efforts. Jackson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jackson. Vores looking to pass the guard. Jackson is looking for a triangle here but Vores uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Jackson looks gassed! Vores moves into full mount! Vores with a couple of short strikes. Vores is landing with some decent strikes but Jackson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jackson tries to reverse the position but Vores maintains control. Vores cracks Jackson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Vores can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape. Jackson seems to have recovered his senses. A nice elbow there by Vores. Vores working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jackson looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Vores! Submission of the night perhaps?
