Paul kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is DMX. Cora has chosen Hell's Bells - AC/DC as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gary Cora was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cora swats away the attempt to clinch by Paul. Cora checks a leg kick. Paul with a body punch. A glancing blow. Paul throws a hook but Cora avoids it easily. Paul looks for a takedown but Cora sprawls well. Cora slips a jab and a cross from Paul.
Paul bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Paul wants to stand but Cora has his arm trapped. Cora struggling a bit here. Cora regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paul is looking to take a break and control but Cora is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cora is controlling Paul's trapped leg to prevent Paul from advancing to side control. Cora trying to hold on to Paul's head to control him but Paul postures up.
Paul is pressing down on Cora's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cora is holding on for now. Cora is controlling Paul's position as best he can from this difficult position. Cora wants to improve his position but Paul is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Well, if Paul is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kosh fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kosh shoots in and drives through. Briggs sprawls well. Briggs throws a series of punches but Kosh moves out of range. Briggs fails to land with a series of punches.
Kosh slips under a jab from Briggs. Kosh misses with a takedown attempt - Briggs sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jax Briggs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clayton Kosh. Briggs throws a body punch but Kosh moves out of range. Kosh takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Clayton Kosh has been cut. Briggs misses with the combination.
Briggs throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Briggs tries to bum rush Kosh with a series of wild strikes but Kosh uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Briggs jabs Kosh right on the nose. Kosh blinks but takes it well. Kosh fails with a takedown attempt. Kosh on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Briggs. Briggs obviously looking to wear him down.
Kosh looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Briggs with a hook. Jax Briggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Briggs fails to land with a series of punches.

Briggs looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Briggs could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kosh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Briggs moves away. Briggs connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kosh slips under a jab from Briggs. A swing and a miss from Briggs. Briggs loads up on a big right hand but Kosh slips the punch. Briggs throws a series of punches but Kosh moves out of range. Kosh shoots in but no luck this time. Briggs fails to land with a series of punches.
Kosh looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The has opened up Clayton Kosh's cut even more.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kosh moves out of range of the body kick from Briggs.
Kosh is trying desperately to land a takedown but Briggs is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kosh. A lazy left from Briggs finds it's target.
Kosh is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kosh looks up at the clock. Bad move! Briggs lands a right hand from hell, dropping Kosh. Briggs pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! SlowGun moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. SlowGun misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ashby shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. SlowGun keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ashby looks for a takedown but SlowGun sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lew Ashby. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown by Ashby or perhaps it was just good defense by SlowGun which made him look bad. Ashby fails to land the takedown. Ashby shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ashby looking for a takedown here - he's got it. SlowGun is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. SlowGun can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ashby controls the pace.

Ashby uses his free foot to push down on SlowGun's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for SlowGun. Ashby misses with a head shot. Ashby wants to finish this one by submission but SlowGun is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ashby. SlowGun is squirming around, avoiding Ashby's attempts to control the action. SlowGun is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

SlowGun is trying to stand. SlowGun really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ashby. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ashby cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Ashby unloads with some shots from mount but SlowGun bucks and avoids them well.

You get the feeling that SlowGun really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ashby is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, SlowGun has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ashby is breathing heavily. SlowGun tries to hold on but Ashby pushes him away. SlowGun wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ashby is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. SlowGun can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's two minutes gone in the round.Ashby lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ashby thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ashby stops SlowGun from getting back to his feet.
SlowGun is refusing to be controlled, as Ashby sits in half guard. Ashby seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ashby thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed SlowGun's head. Ashby missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. SlowGun lands a jab to the nose. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ashby. Ashby throws an off balance right hand
letting SlowGun counter with a right hand. Ashby walks into a stiff left hand from SlowGun. Ashby throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and SlowGun counters with a left and a right that stings Ashby.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ashby throws a combination that misses and SlowGun counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. SlowGun lands with an overhand left. SlowGun drops Ashby with a big left hand! Ashby is injured, injured bad! SlowGun jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Vegas manages to work his way to half guard, despite Johnston's best efforts. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solstice throws a head kick that misses. Bellamy moves out of range of the leg kick from Solstice. A nice leg kick lands there from Solstice. Bellamy blocks a leg kick. Bellamy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bellamy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bellamy gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Bellamy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Solstice is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bellamy off and has taken his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pardo is trying to escape and Tully transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Pardo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Tully ! Very nice indeed!
