Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harley Royale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilby Champion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Royale comes to the cage accompanied by Empire X by Dubtraction. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harley Royale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wilby Champion! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Royale on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Champion lands with a cross. The fight stays on the outside here - Champion looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Champion scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Royale doesn't seem bothered though. Royale shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Horrible takedown by Royale or perhaps it was just good defense by Champion which made him look bad. Champion fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Royale on the side of the head. Royale shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Champion but Champion pushes him off and we're back to square one. Royale sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Champion lands with a kick to the temple. Royale shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Harley Royale has been cut. Champion tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Champion tries to close the distance and clinch but Royale swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Champion moves in looking to clinch but Royale pushes him off. No luck for Royale with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harley Royale. That's going to take a lot out of him. Champion throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Royale. Champion throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Royale. Champion tries to close the distance and clinch but Royale swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Royale avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Royale clinches but Champion breaks the clinch and Champion counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Royale takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Royale misses with a takedown and Champion counters with a head kick. That will keep Royale thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Royale takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Champion rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Royale moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Royale fails with the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Champion looks to clinch and Royale counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Royale. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Champion is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Champion takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Champion works his way into side control. Royale prevents Champion from improving position. Champion wants to control but Royale is keeping him busy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Royale is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Champion works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Champion content just to control the position here. Royale sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Champion tries to stand and escape but Royale is controlling the position. Royale tries to get to full guard but Champion has control of the leg. Harley Royale overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. That was a close second round but I would say that Harley Royale will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Harley Royale's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Patrick misses. Patrick wants to clinch. A right-left combo lands from Soze. Patrick wants to clinch up but Soze keeps it at a distance. Soze swats away the attempt to clinch by Patrick. Patrick tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Soze paws at him with a jab and circles away. Soze scores with a one two! Patrick had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Soze rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Patrick moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Soze clinches with his opponent.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Soze is looking to slow Patrick down with leg kicks. Soze uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Patrick.
Soze connects with a high kick. Soze throws a leg kick which misses Patrick's front leg but catches the back leg as Patrick tries to avoid it. Patrick throws a sloppy head kick and Soze counters with a straight right hand. Soze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Patrick gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Soze counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Patrick! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shire moves in looking to clinch but Dios pushes him off. Shire throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dios closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dios lands in his opponent's guard. Dios thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Shire manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Hjalmar Klason is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Klason blocks a body shot from Jackson.
And that's the end of the fight! Hjalmar Klason showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Klason, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
