The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daddy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Daddy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Gamma shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gamma was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
You get the feeling that Daddy really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Gamma avoids the attempt from Daddy to control.
Daddy is trying desperately to improve position.

Gamma get's back to his feet.

Gamma bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Gamma might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Daddy kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Daddy throws some wild stikes that Gamma manages to avoid easily.
Gamma is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Daddy swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Gamma is now in Daddy's guard. A big mistake from Daddy there, giving up the dominant position!

Daddy is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gamma is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Daddy to the mat. Daddy regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

A nice combination there by Mortainious.
Hercules will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mortainious pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mortainious lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Mortainious wants to land a leg kick but Hercules is out of range.
Mortainious connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Hercules tumbling to the canvas! Mortainious pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Hercules was done - good stoppage!
