The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
adams throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vieira is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
No joy there for adams, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
adams walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Vieira avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
adams throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
adams misses with a straight left.
A cross from Vieira lands.

It looks like adam adams has been cut.
adams looks for a takedown but Vieira sprawls well.
adams waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Vieira.
