1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Milas Overett! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Overett as he avoids it easily. Overett looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Coleman shoots in looking for a takedown. Overett tries to sprawl out of it but Coleman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Overett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Coleman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Coleman lands in his opponent's guard. Coleman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Overett keeping full guard, as Coleman tries to pass. Coleman is looking to work some ground and pound but Overett has wrist control. Coleman throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Coleman postures up in Overett's guard and throws a big left but Overett blocks it. Coleman landing with the ground and pound.

No luck for Coleman with that takedown attempt. Mark Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Overett thuds his right hand into Coleman's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Overett scores with a sloppy right hand. Coleman should have avoided that one. Overett fails with an attempt to clinch.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Good exchange - Overett coming out on top. No luck for Coleman with that takedown attempt. A nice combination there by Overett.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sirovica checks a leg kick. Torino will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sirovica misses with a body kick. Sirovica steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Torino. Sirovica staying out of range there. Torino misses with a straight right. Torino will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Young shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sizwe but Sizwe pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sizwe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sizwe with a poor takedown and Young counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sizwe's knee momentarily. Oooh a lovely combination from Sizwe sends Young down but not out. Sizwe dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Angus Young has been cut. Sizwe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Young on the ground. Sizwe wants to stand but Young has his arm trapped. Young is still in real trouble! Can Sizwe finish him? Young wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Young seems to have recovered his senses. Young is trying to control Sizwe's posture but Sizwe avoids it. Sizwe in side control, throwing shots but Young defends. Young tries to escape but Sizwe is in control. Vonlictinstien screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rophilia closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Gator takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

"Ole!" shouts Madrox as he jumps to the side. Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Madrox sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isaac Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Madrox pushes Johnson up against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Johnson can't get the takedown.
